I mean, I was sobbing
First of all, Seo Ji Hoon is absolutely mesmerizing in this drama. How and why is he not starring in every upcoming drama? He's SO AMAZING. What an incredible talent. I've watched 77 Kdramas so far and his performance was probably the best I've ever seen. I saw him in My Lovely Liar and he was stand out in that drama (he had a fairly minor role, but I remembered him). But in this one, totally blew me away.I do feel like 99% of my enjoyment of this drama was Seo Ji Hoon. The rest of the cast did perfectly fine. The story had some unevenness but was mostly fine. Keeping it real: without Seo Ji Hoon in his role, this probably would've been a 6 instead of an 8 overall.
But because of the believability and excellence of Seo Ji Hoon's performance, this drama had me sobbing at the very end. I cried and cried and couldn't stop wishing he'd somehow come back. Ugh. So, so, so sad. I'm going to have to watch another drama with this actor ASAP.

Check Fact, Don't Suggest
The story is about a high school girl and a boy who accidentally meet each other in an art classroom. Later on, they fell in love, but it's not going well when someone knows about their status. It's become horrible to see how it's ended. After several years, she still can't forget about what happened in the past, and now his little brother has enrolled in the school where she taught as a teacher. That's how the story becomes interesting. Was this review helpful to you?
Good.
I enjoyed this. It was sad but, the acting was good and the plot was well thought out. The entire drama seemed cohesive, sometimes stories like these end up having plot holes or they're too tragic for me to handle, I could handle the sadness of this one, and although it was hard it was manageable to watch this one without feeling overwhelmed by sadness. I actually thought this would be sadder than it ended up being, I'm glad it wasn't as sad. I think everything wrapped up nicely but I wouldn't necessarily call it a happy ending, I thought it was even more sad the way it ended. I enjoyed the present story a lot, all the actors did a good job. I think honestly if the last few things I watched weren't so amazing I would be more blown away by this, it was a really solid story, the acting wasn't bad, and it was all enjoyable, so I can't give it a lower rating. Was this review helpful to you?
Pick a Season
The only valid play here is the nostalgic journey of the female lead and her middling experience of loss. The drama was overloaded with too many trite moments and rundown turns, using molds from far too many clones of its genre. What initially seemed to be promising characters quickly turned into one-dimensional archetypes with limited emotional attachment that gradually weathered away as it got deeper. The dialogues were mostly stiff accompanied by an obnoxious OST. The students from the present were straight up insufferable. Its cinematography was decent, yet it didn't substitute for the hollowness in the text. The cast presented a mixed bag of performances with the teen cast members being mostly awkward and stiff. Although it was short, the drama had some potential if it were to take the more serious route to better fit its themes rather than being excessively bubbly and sentimental. Was this review helpful to you?
A Patchwork of Pretty Sad Stories That Somehow Still Hits You Warm Althought It Feels Sheap
✨ THE GOOD (THE BITES THAT WORK):This isn’t one story , it’s a whole garden of bite-sized life hits , each subplot brings a different kind of bittersweet wound.
Characters are human (mostley) , messy, and often painfully familiar , you watch them and think, “Yeah… I know .”
The emotional moments land with weight, even when they hit soft at first. It’s the kind of show that grows roots in your chest.
🙄 THE “THIS IS BOTH BEAUTIFUL AND CHAOTIC” PACKAGE:
Tonally, it jumps around tbh , from tender to tragic to “Okay, now I need a hug” in one episode.
Sometimes it feels like a playlist that wasn’t quite arranged before going public: deep cut, then pop tearjerker, then why are we sad again? I get it it's an "artestic" choice but someetimes it's pushing it.
🤦 THE “WHY AM I CRYING ABOUT A SIDE CHARACTER?” ENERGY:
Some arcs are so well done you forget they’re not the main story,
especially like my dumb ass who got mentiened there in a sense.
But other arcs feel undercooked, like the shows said, “We have 10 stories… let’s f*cking just do them all.”
💔 THE “EMOTIONAL GARDEN WITH THORNS” DEPARTMENT:
This one’s about life more than romance , heartbreak, regret, growth, unspoken love, letting go and so.
Every season feels like a different weather pattern , sometimes sunny, sometimes stormy…
and sometimes that weird damp where you just want soup.
🎯 FINAL VERDICT:
A collection of beautifully messy, kinda emotionally layered stories that are more life than plot , sometimes scattered, mostly effective if you got invested in .
✔ Watch if: You want drama that hits emotionally like a late-night revelation.
❌ Skip if: You need tight narrative focus, clear pacing, or zero sadness.
🍵 Best paired with: Tea, empathy, and a quiet mood , this one is almost "therapeutic 'ich".

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful drama, my heart ached!
What a beautiful drama, and I can't think of any other better ending to this bittersweet love story. This is easily topping my list in the category of "first love / highschool romance" and literally made me teared so much :')I binged watched this drama in a day and the duration of the storyline is just nice, i wouldn't say any part of the story was unnecessarily draggy.
One thing that i wish can be better was to show more of So Mang and Ha Min's time together, felt it was getting shorter with the present days' character plot.
Love the chemistry between the leads nonetheless, and I got to say that So Mang's acting carries the role so well and i got absorbed into the story so quickly that it felt like i just lived through it while watching.
At the last episode, I honestly was assuming that So Mang is going to read the letter in a narration and that draws the end to the drama but no - Ha Min appeared in front of her and they had a present day conversation. When So Mang asked "Do you regret?" wow this question got me crying so hard. It felt so real, so true and delicate of a question. Can't think of a better ending than Ha Min telling So Mang to not read the letter and to move on to live her life to the fullest. There cannot be any better ending than this.
P/S. i wished there was a better fit for Jae Min, i can't sense the chemistry between him and Seon Hee.

Decent story, could have been executed a bit better
This was in many ways a very beautiful story, or should i say two parallel stories one we know will end with our male lead dyeing. The other a story of youth, young romance and healing of not the worst kind but still healing. While the time line is all mixed up, the uniforms make sure to keep us from getting confused however once the flashbacks turn in to some kind of talking to a memory the cringe takes over and I found myself rolling my eyes taking a deep breath and just exhaling in frustration.
The overall message is pretty good though and it does not take the issue of suicide or the self guilt afterwords lightly at all which should have upped the score but there where a few to many details that I just could not ignore while setting the score for this.
The acting varies between good and meeh, As Seo Ji Hoon and So Ju Yeons acting is noticably better than the rest of the leading cast. That said the teens are lovely most of the time and there is this little cute gay side couple that share a yellow umbrella in the most subtle but sweet way.
An okay watch, easy to binge as it has short episodes and a decent pacing with the plot.
One more thing the casting of the younger brother was waaay off,
Seo Ji Hoon and Kim Min Kyu look nothing like each other, and do not share the same mimics and can bearaly pass as brothers not to mention look just like his brother... These two are litteraly the guys to disproveonce and for all those ignorant people who say "but they all look the same"

This lady was a cautionary tale on how NOT to grieve
It’s not love that kept her tied to the dead boy, it’s regret (which makes sense considering the circumstances of his death.)The whole thing was weird. She was behaving recklessly and crossing lines left and right-with the kid and the mother.
Her still being hung up on this to this extent 6 years later never made a lick of sense to me. Feeling regret and a debt to someone you cared for who committed suicide is understandable. Her complete disregard for herself and common sense in service of this, is not.
The other half of the story was just straight ass. At first I thought it was kinda cute but that quickly descended into nonsense. They threw a bunch of people who can’t act for shit together and gave them the driest script ever.
They weren’t even real people. it felt like I was trapped in a loop of stupid.
The only thing this drama had going for it is that it’s one of the only kdramas I’ve seen not vilify someone for committing suicide.
They didn’t blame him for the pain that his death caused in those left behind.
He didn’t have a duty to the people in his life to keep living.
It was one of the few dramas I’ve seen acknowledge and validate the person’s pain instead of painting them as selfish or cowardly.
Other than that, this was a pretty eh🤷🏾♀️ story.

Cute romance with potential
The show begins with a heartbreaking take on the FL losing her ML. However, she embraced the school and became a teacher to get back her memories. Overall all the actor and actress did great and the show overall was funny and bring back the school vibes. The show didn’t have anything dramatic or plot twist but was enjoyable. Was this review helpful to you?
Let me wipe my tears.
Seasons of Blossom" is an incredibly heartbreaking drama. It is so emotional that I was crying uncontrollably until the very end. My heart felt heavy throughout. Yes, the ending is sad, so I would only recommend it to those with a strong heart. The story revolves around the female protagonist and portrays two phases of her life: her past as a high school student and her present as a teacher. She returns to the same high school as a trainer teacher, allowing herself to relive memories in which a special person was once an important part of her life but later was no longer with her.
The drama beautifully contrasts these two phases. The past is extremely emotional, and I couldn’t hold back my tears while watching it. The present is also moving, showing how her past experiences connect with the lives of current high school students as they struggle with love, friendship, and their dreams. Interestingly, some parts of the students’ story parallel her own past, including an intense love story that adds depth to the narrative.
While I loved every aspect of the drama, my focus was mostly on the protagonist’s past. The present-day storyline felt slightly less engaging at times.
Every character delivered an outstanding performance, making the drama truly unforgettable.

Was this review helpful to you?
