New manager and false allegations

Qiao Ling has managed to get herself voted in as Time Agent manager.🤣 While she did butt into their team, after the burglary I think it’s a good idea for a third party to assist in an emergency situation. They go on a team building outing where everyone got along nicely except Lu Guang and He Xu. These two are constantly sparring. He Xu is definitely grey in some aspects while Lu Guang is sometimes too black and white. They cannot seem to find a middle ground and Cheng Xiao Si is often uncomfortable trying to keep the peace between them. Here Liu Ye talks about northern lights and magnetic fields which get the three others looking a bit nervous and not contributing much to the topic. After Qiao Ling primises to be at Liu Ye’s book signing she doesn’t show. I was disappointed that she didn’t even call. I know she was comforting the girl assaulted in the train, but he deserved some notice rather than her weak make up sorry at work the next day. The actor playing assaulted girl (the one at the table with Qiao Ling)was the first time I saw poor acting in this drama. Her fake lament was not good compared to the caliber of actors in cast. It was a cringe moment on a serious topic. On his way home, Liu Ye is accused of assaulting a woman on the train. He didn’t do it, but circumstances made him look guilty. He really needed a friend in that moment and none were there for him. I found myself annoyed with Qiao Ling making cutesy faces for selfies while her friend was being hurled to the floor of the train being accused of a crime. For me, this is my least favorite episode so far. I am so disappointed in the one that is supposed to be his friend. Here she is acting far more like Cheng Xiao Si.😝 the second woman claiming assault was much more believable. This whole scene is disturbing but should be considering the subject matter.
