Kaori is blamed by other teachers and students' mothers for delivering newspapers, but Kodai calms the situation by explaining that Kaori was taking the place of his injured father. Meanwhile, Rina is found out to have been trying to drive a wedge between Hana and Mirai, and is condemned by them. Angered, Rina tells Kikue a lie that Mirai was badmouthing the teacher, and Kikue reacted by punishing Mirai to clean the toilet. Meanwhile, Hana warns the bad boys from the sixth grade for littering in the hallway, but they are about to beat her up. Daichi comes and fights them off.
