Feeling sorry for how she treated Yuta, Momoko tries to comfort him, but he pushes her away. However, Yuta becomes disheartened when he sees Ayaka and Shohei getting along, and in a fit of frustration, gets into a fight with some delinquents at the park. Just as Yuta is about to get seriously hurt, Momoko arrives and, without regard for her own safety, steps in to protect him. When Yuta shows concern for Momoko's injuries, she shares her own experience, saying, "Heartbreak makes you stronger." Momoko continues to encourage Yuta, telling him to study hard, become successful, and prove himself to Ayaka. Meanwhile, Namie is invited to dinner by Principal Toyama, and she is asked if she has any intention of remarrying, which makes her heart fill with anticipation.
