Hana is surprised when Yuta defends Momoko and directs his anger at her. Seeing Yuta studying with Momoko, Hana snaps, "Don't do things that don't suit you," but Koichiro tells her, "You should study too," which leaves her in a bad mood. Meanwhile, Namie accepted Toyama's proposal and was filled with happiness.
At Koichiro's store, which continues to struggle, suddenly gets a big customer. The customer says that they will stock Koichiro's products in the newly built school dormitory. Koichiro and Kaori are overjoyed. However, the supposedly promising dorm manager Sudo turns out to be a shady character addicted to online dating sites. This fact comes to light thanks to Hana's intervention.
One day, on her way home from school, a middle-aged man calls out to Hana in the park, mistaking her for someone he met on a dating site. She kicks the man and tells him not to commit a crime. The angry man hits Hana over the head. The man turns out to be Sudo. Hana is surprised to see him appear before Koichiro. Hana tells him to apologize, but Koichiro, who doesn't want to lose a big customer, scolds her. Later, seeing Hana upset and silent, Koichiro starts to reflect on the situation.
