Toyama was worried that his relationship with Namie had become strained because of his father, Yoshiaki. One night, Toyama invited Kaori for a drink and told her about his troubles. After drinking too much, Toyama staggered and fell on Kaori, but by chance, Eri and her mother saw him. Meanwhile, the cast for the school festival play has been announced. Ryohei had hoped for a better role, but was disappointed with a supporting role. Eri and Yukari also had hoped for good roles to give them an advantage in the entrance exams, but ended up with supporting roles. Afterwards, their mothers come to complain to Kaori, but Kaori doesn't listen. The next morning, a photo of Kaori and Toyama coming out of a love hotel is posted on the school bulletin board, causing an uproar throughout the school. Meanwhile, Momoko finds out that it was Eri and Yukari who created the doctored picture. She pours a bucket of water over them in anger.
