Best series ever!!!!!!! The storyline carries such a heavy plot for the first couple debut, but they’ve done incredibly well in bringing it to life. The actors chosen fit their roles perfectly—every emotion feels raw and believable. It’s rare to see a debut handled with such maturity and depth, and that’s what makes this show stand out.

Beyond the intensity, it’s also the kind of comfort series to rewatch—no matter how many times, it still feels fresh and heartfelt. Truly one of those rare gems that balance strong storytelling, excellent acting, and rewatch value. Love it!

MY FIRST THAI BL AND I LOVED IT

I watched this show a long time ago, but never got around to review it so here I am!!!

I’m absolutely in love with this series. It completely sparked my interest for Thai BL and BL in general! I love the themes they go around in the show. It’s not just a BL with a lot of spicy scenes like a lot of them are. This show goes into the depth of accepting yourself, other people opinions and how much you get affected by the rules of society. I was so surprised when I watched all these (and more) themes being involved in the BL industry. I know it’s not the first one, but it still stuck with me.

While I know the story and writing let a lot of people down, I personally don’t think it’s even that bad but that might just be me. I liked the way the story went, but maybe I love it more because it, in fact, was my first Thai BL…

Let’s give a round of applause to FirstKhao!! The two lead actors in this series. They’re absolutely PHENOMENAL. Their acting was smooth and they had so good chemistry. They for real made me cry so much. Their acting is always on top so no surprises. I think they made up for the writing so much that I can’t help but give this show a high rating. (My opinion🙏)

Overall I really loved this show if you couldn’t tell… I recommend it to anyone! New or not to the BL world. It has both heavy and silly stuff involved which I love. GO WATCH IT.

Don't drop this series yet!!

Eventho we're 3 episodes in, I still have no idea what is happening or what's the main protagonist's main purpose of transferring schools and doing all of the things he did. But from what I've grasped from the 3 eps is that everytime someone is going against the school rule, an almost supernatural-like force or being will try to harm them and they called this as the 'curse'. He is also trying to avenge his uncle's death that was a former teacher in the school that he got transferred to. I'm excited for what the next episodes had to offer and how are the character gonna develop so don't drop this series yet.

Many plot holes. Big spoiler alert

Watch this cause I like the chemistry between Khaotung Thanawat Ratanakitpaisan & First Kanaphan Puitrakul in Only Friends & this part of Our Skyy series. Must say this series have many plot holes that I don't like...

As usual the save or (+) point first:
+ The good teacher. How supportive teacher Sani is for the student development. Especially when she has the talk with Wasuwat / "Wat". She's one good teacher.
+ Everything gets better in the end.
+ The chemistry between Khaotung Thanawat Ratanakitpaisan & First Kanaphan Puitrakul. Even with questionable plot, I really like to see them together. Feel like friend that decided to have something more...

The plot holes:
- The way Akk and Ayan / eye get closer really question mark... I mean yeah I know they will eventually be closer & having relationships, that's the set up.... But how one pair bickering individual just having feelings & helping each other is not something I get caught on. It just feel the director decided this is the time to make u guys couple, and they become couple...
- We lack explanation about Khanlong / "Khan" & Thuaphu / "Thua" relationships. Why at first Khan try to avoid Thua like he is the plague for him. Yeah I know we get a little hint here & there they talk about them being an 'item' & Khan just bother at first. And that's also the weird relationship between Khan & Thua until the last scene. Never really understand the dilemma in Khan heart nor i think they fit for each other.
- The curse itself. OMG..... They never really bothered to explain to us about the CURSE. What is that? How it appeared? Why it happened? Who it targeted for? Yeah yeah I know they, once again, give a little hint here and there about the curse, but never really directly tell us. Why don't they use the chance when Eye enter as new student to explained to him & us about the curse...
- Teacher Dika. OMG... This also one important character that they never really bothered to tell us the back story of him. Once again, only a little here & there & finally the big reveal in the end. I need more..... More story of him.... Like how he give impact to Akk & other student, how he became good teacher & everyone remember... Something like that...
- The pressure that the school put into the student. And the bad guy here is teacher Chadok. Never really understand the pride in the name of Suppalo school and all its rule...
- The 3 'bad' kids that always protest. I mean what's their deal... Why they protest about the school rule. What I can get from their protest only 1, they don't want to wear school uniform & nothing else. I mean yeah I understand if the school rule is just too strict or the lesson just too heavy or something meaningful for student to be protest about. But I don't see or get how the school rule too strict for student in Suppalo. I mean they still allowed the students to protest & make demo in school, how that's a strict school... & why these trio must always protest for school rule.... I don't get it. Even when the narrative already been swifted in the end, the trio want school to investigate the incident that happen to them. In my opinion these trio still have no base for protest...
- The night patrol... Why they do it...? Even worse, make student do it. Although only prefect do it still make no sense. They still student & underage kids in the first place, no teacher or adult accompanied them, what if something DID happen to them, who'll responsible for them... Why the need to do the night patrol in the first place is really question mark.... It's school for God sake!!! Who's ever see their school have/do night patrol...? See doesn’t make sense...

Sorry not sorry

This bl was just bland and boring for me. The acting was mid but the story fell flat for me. Everything was just out of place and to a point certain dramatisation of the story was wrong. I just couldn't make a sense of the story and that made it frustrating for me. I just felt like it was a total waste of time. I couldn't even watch them in our skyy.
And then there was chemistry between the actors but it just couldn't save the day i mean Akk and Ayan’s scenes can’t carry this series on their back. Their chemistry cant make up for the lack of story. In all it was such a disappointment. it started so well and went downhill so fast. the final was so boring everything sucked except acting of casts and alittle bit of firstkhao chemistry. i loved casual intimacy of their couple and the uniforms were also boring

first of all I loved the plott!! it's very rare to see a BL series having a suspense thriller story rather than the same routine romcom story... I just watched the 1st episode on youtube and I liked it pretty much.

the ost..intros and outros gives us very nice vibe... THE CAST AND CREW ARE SOOOO HANDSOMEE AND TALENTEDD!!!

I really tried

I really, really tried to watch it. I love firstkhao and I wanted to watch the side couple's story too, but I just can't take this seriously. The school is supposedly very strict and has tons of rules, but the only rules we see in the six episodes are the rules about wearing uniforms and not using phones. We never see the very strict rules of the school, the kids have been protesting for just one of these two rules for six episodes and they just look funny. I studied at a boarding school in high school and it was truly one of the worst experiences of my life. It was a school with really stifling rules that interfered with every minute of our lives, there was also great academic pressure on us, and I was really depressed because of school. I guess those who wrote the script do not have such experience because I cannot take what is happening in this school seriously. Of course, maybe the problem is cultural difference, but there are examples of this type of schools from all over the world.

The most realistic scene of the series was the psychological violence inflicted on Ayan by the teachers. They handled it very superficially though. I know from my personal experience and from the news I have seen that although a very good series could have been created, it did not happen because they dealt with the subject too superficially. Don't people know that really terrible things can happen in schools? If the real events related to the subject being tried to be discussed here were investigated and reflected in the series, a really good work could be produced. I'm really sorry that this series could have been a masterpiece but it wasn't.

Forte, sensível e muito bem contado

Comecei a assistir achando que ia ser só mais um BL escolar com toque de mistério, mas aos poucos ele foi se revelando muito mais do que isso. A forma como a história é construída me prendeu de um jeito que nem percebi. Quando vi, já estava totalmente envolvida com aquele colégio cheio de regras absurdas, com os segredos, as dúvidas, os medos e tudo o que vai sendo jogado na nossa cara com uma delicadeza firme.

O que mais me marcou é como a série consegue passar uma mensagem importante sem ser óbvia. Fala sobre questionar o que nos foi imposto, sobre ter coragem de ser quem a gente é, mesmo quando tudo ao redor diz o contrário. E isso, pra mim, bateu fundo. Porque às vezes a gente esquece o quanto é importante olhar pro que nos incomoda, pro que nos oprime, e The Eclipse faz isso de forma sensível, mas firme. Tem gente que precisa ouvir isso. Tem gente que vai se ver ali, e talvez entenda coisas que não conseguia nomear antes.

E o melhor é que o romance entre o Akk e o Ayan não rouba a cena, ele soma. A história dos dois é construída no tempo certo, com cuidado, com camadas. Nada parece forçado, nada é jogado só pra agradar. E o mais bonito é ver como o sentimento deles cresce junto com o que eles estão descobrindo sobre si mesmos e sobre o mundo em que vivem. É tudo muito bem amarrado e sincero. Dá gosto de acompanhar. E foi bom ver um BL que não precisou apelar pro físico, nem deixar a trama de lado, pra focar só no casal. Aqui, tudo anda junto, e isso faz toda a diferença.

Claro que nem tudo é perfeito. Teve momentos em que senti o ritmo cair, alguns personagens que podiam ter sido mais bem aproveitados, e cenas que poderiam ter tido mais impacto emocional. Mas isso não apagou a força do que foi entregue. Pelo contrário. A série foi até o fim com coerência e com uma mensagem que ficou em mim depois dos créditos.

No fim das contas, The Eclipse não é só uma história sobre dois garotos se apaixonando. É uma história sobre coragem, liberdade e transformação. Me fez pensar, me fez sentir, e me deixou com vontade de que mais gente veja, especialmente quem precisa ouvir o que essa série tem pra dizer. Porque não é só bonito de assistir, é importante também.
