Both the shows are highschool shows but done correctly with everyone giving their maximum efforts. Both are about the Love story of student council president and head of music club. Both these shows have leads who are really great at acting with amazing, mind-blowing chemistry.
My school president is a fluffy show with lots of music which touches our soul but with minimum angst. Lovesick is very angsty with unrequited love, longing, pining, yearning etc. Infact both of these shows are breath of fresh air and could be enjoyed by any age group of people. These two portrays the innocence of youth, slice of life etc.

If you like MSP and want another lighthearted and high school set bl, this is a really good option. Lots of humor, a dramatic but adorable main character Aoki, great friendships, and good character development.
If you like KH, then give MSP a try! Light humor, high school set, good friendships, and super cute!!

I don't really know how to explain this one. The two main characters remind me a lot of GeminiFourth's characters in MSP (TinnGun), both physically and in terms of their personalities. I would also compare them to HeartLiming from Moonlight Chicken, who are played by the same actors and have a similar vibe.
Both dramas have one main lead secretly in love with the other. Because of his secret love, he starts doing something he wouldnt really want to do under normal circumstances to help the other lead (MSP - ml becomes school president; HA - ml becomes oth ml dating advisor).
Both dramas are mostly fluffy school/university feel good dramas with handsome leads.
Differences: MSP is actually good and has a solid story while HA doesn't have any sane scriptwriter in the crew.

Both of these BLs are centered around the relationship between the president of a high school music club and a member of the student council who has a crush on him. In the case of Love Sick, Punn is the secretary of the student council and Noh is the president of the music club. They start out as a fake couple before feelings get real. In My School President, Tinn is president of the student council and he already has a secret crush on Gun, the president of the music club. Both shows have the basic premise that the sudent council member grows closer to the music club president during the process of helping to rescue the club from certain collapse in one way or another.
YET AGAIN ANOTHER HEARTWARMING HIGHSCOOL BL :3 MSP is adorable, though a lot more comedy based. Also if you don't enjoy musicals you MIGHT not like it because they sing a lot, but the songs are amazing anyway, just give it a try idk. It's a silly show about the nerd school president being secretly in love with the member of a school band and having to pretend he's trying his best to get their club cancelled if they don't raise their grades enough, because his mom the principal might shut it down for real since there's not enough budget. He offers to tutor them and does his best to convince his mom to give them a chance because he only cares about his crush's happiness and nothing else, just like watarai. Tsundere but make it cute, am I right? hehe the show is available on Youtube, entirely for free! subs in many languages as well. Their love is just as cute.
They have the bubbly, summer, fluff feeling in common qnd both are about teenagers in school, that have a boyband that they want to win a special contest with. MSP has more ckmedy, while Rearrange tackles more interpersonal relationship related topics.
What I just noticed is that they both, in their own ways, handle homophobia, academic pressure, loss of a loved one, rejection and different friendship dynamics.
