Turns out it's not just the ambitious prince is nuts so is the Emperor. They are both looking for a sacrifice to make their evil plans come to fruition. Who will come to the rescue?

This episode gets the vibe back on track after going off the rails with fluffiness in four previous episodes (13-16). We have one swoonworthy hug that has the same vibe and energy that we saw back in epic episodes like 5, 6 and 12. Nothing is too sweet, just right. The way General Li responds to the Crown Prince’s visit—BRAVO. Professional and courteous. The message should be crystal clear to him where they stand with each other.
