Jin An and Li Ting become sworn brothers, but Li Ting has other plans for Jin An, hoping to help his family’s situation. Instead, he sees Jin An’s secret persona and, with Jin An’s help, begins repairing his relationship with Li Shuang. Su Mu Li slowly plans for his rise to the throne, while Su Mu Yang grapples with his handicap.

We learn more about the politics in the imperial family wherein one of the princes is trying to take down General Li as the Li family is a powerful military family that the prince fears might be uncontrollable if left unchecked. To allay the government’s fears, impulsive little brother kidnaps Jin’an with the purpose of turning him over to the authorities. On the way there, Jin’an secret superpowers get revealed.
