Demon King wasn’t expecting her to put everything together before JiaLin’s arrival. It is interesting that whether good or evil except for close circle HuaiZhu is cold and calculating. She just enjoys it more when on the dark side. She is most likely somewhat distant on the good side because of the responsibilities she has.
