They learn from leech demon what powers the Gold Dawn. Together, they scheme to betray JiuHuo and blow up the floor. HuaiZhu sees he values her body and allows her to be kidnapped. She returns to JiuHuo who promises to tell her everything. YeYuan is beyond frustrated that JiuHuo caters to left guardian. She is feeding off the hatred of the servants and becoming more like JiaLan. Mei tells them what he saw in his vision. The pieces are put together when they reunite with the last mask group member. They learn that Mei’s vision had happened and that only one survived. He is now going to help them return and they know what not to do this time. HongYe is shaken because he realized his leadership caused the fall of their group. It remains to be seen if HuaiZhu will come through with the dragon blood or bone to defeat JiuHuo. The one thing that seems to be in their favor is JiuHuo wanting HuaiZhu to be vessel for JiaLan. If he would accept her as she is, HuaiZhu is liking her demonic role and might choose to stay this way.
