This story has been playing out quite strongly so far. They definitely still see each other as opponents they have to outdo. I also find it funny how he keeps teasing her by calling her ‘wife’! But you also start to learn about Ah Ying’s past, and she finds comfort in telling Li Ni. Also, Tao Zi and Xie Chang’er—there’s definitely something there! The Young Master also seems like an important character, but I’m a bit scared he might cause problems for the main couple because he clearly likes the female lead.

As much as it was fun to see them best each other, it's actually better to see them work together. I like seeing the ML in this type of role when he can be cheeky but also serious, with action scenes and romantic ones (similar to his Arsenal Military Academy role).
