Shao Cang leaves Yangyue Sect, taking Yin Ya along as he believes Yin Ya was the one who tipped off Zhu Sui. He cannot allow such a devious person near Nan Yan. Yin Ya schemed to make use of the Great Path Sect to get Ji Yang kicked out of the Yangyue Sect so as to allow him the chance to steal Nan Yan's mermaid bead. Meanwhile, Nan Ya and Mu Zhan Ting prepare mid-autumn goodies for Nan Yan's mother. The next morning, the two friends arrive at Nan Yan's home but find it empty.
