Nan Yan treats the badly injured Shao Cang in the bamboo forest. Yin Ya sees Ji Yang leaving Nan Yan's room at night and seizes the opportunity to get close to Nan Yan. However, she sees through his disguise. Da Shi Xiong accuses Nan Yan of harboring the fox spirit. He then captures Yin Ya with his Deity Binding Bag and plans to hand him over to the Great Path Sect. Yangyue sect master stops him and takes over the bag for questioning. Meanwhile, Shao Cang fails to get rid of the candlelight beetles inside him. He returns in time to stop Yin Ya from stealing the mermaid bead from the disillusioned Nan Ya.
