Tsubaki confesses her love to Mitsuru, but he doesn't give her an answer. He then tells her to meet her at the park, but instead of Mitsuru, it's her father who'd been gone for 12 years. Unbeknownst to Tsubaki, Mitsuru had set it up. Meanwhile, the detectives tell Tsubaki that her suspicions had cleared, and Tsubaki tells them how Reiko had been dating Masaya.
