Not exactly the same but in this drama people cannot hide their true feeling or attraction towards each other . It is a good drama

Both are about one of the leads having the ability to hear people's thoughts, resulting in them becoming somewhat jaded with the world.

First of all, Both give a similar vibe with how the character were written to be. Both shows plots are a ridiculously scenarios. Both shows main leads have to figure out how to coexist and eventually they find that they enjoy spending time together. I don't know if it's just me but I think since they both are from the same network company maybe writers or producers from one show worked on the other show, making them very alike.

Other Similarities:
Both Female Leads are strong, hardworking, quick witted women.
Both Male Leads are misunderstood in the beginning and overtime learn to be understood.
-It's still too early to say that the ML from wedding impossible is misunderstood but I think he acts out but he's intentions are different from what the FL sees.

Characters have special powers in both shows. They use their powers for their own gain at first but eventually learn how to use them to help others. They lose their powers at some point. Some characters aren’t what they seem.

Both dramas are mystery/thriller genres with a FL who has the supernatural ability to hear when someone is lying.

Both feature a once superstar level male lead brought low by an event in the beginning and the mystery around that event.

• fl is cute (idk how to put it but in both dramas they’re cute ?)

• i really think if u liked MLL then you’ll like summer strike too, it immediately reminded me of it when i watched it

So, yes - there are similarities - unexplicable binge watching ability, good pace, no fillers.
Main resemblance - super human abilities - in Doom at your service - semi god, my lovely liar - FL with liars detection ability.

If you like the hong kong remake of my lovely liar, you definitely should watch the Korean original drama (imo the Korean ver is better). And vice versa, if you liked the kdrama, check out the remake in case you like it! Basically very similar/same storyline but in different countries and different actors...

FL has a special talent/power in both series and FL and ML team up to try to solve a big mystery. Both involve shamanism.
