Who will end up with who?
Nice cliffhanger for episode 8. Can’t wait til next week. Through the first 8 episodes I have enjoyed the drama. It seems that male and female leads are destined to be together but circumstances seem to keep them apart. Now they are both pretty deep into other relationships. ML1 is with what appears to be the ultimate catch, but it is all too obvious, except to her, that he is not all in. I almost feel sorry for her as I see her getting hurt once the ML lead’s true feelings become known. He was too weak to rebuff her advances, but if he did, we wouldn’t have this great dramatic conflict. FL1 is with the ultimate nice guy, but do you feel their spark? I don’t.It’s hard to read FL1. She seems like someone who has it all together on the outside, but torn on the inside. I think she goes with the flow, which resulted in the relationship she has with ML2. Of course, they could make it together, but we all know she belongs with ML1.
Overall, so far, another great drama. Can’t wait to see what lies ahead. Will comeback after show complete for an update.

This would have to be the worst ending ever in a Korean Drama
I only continued to watch this till the end, because of Yoo Yeon Seok and Tae-yu Moon . The rest of the cast is below average. (I guess it not their fault - absolutely terrible writing/directing) Half way through the show I asked myself if the writer would serioulsy pick up their game at one point with this love story . Unfortunatley this was been DRAGGED OUT to an absolute nothingness to say the least. Moon Ga-young with her BLANK stares and maddening silence is beyong comprehension. When they ask each other all those ridiculous questions and then answering with another question, almost the whole time? How totally ludicrous can they be? If that is how adults communicate with each other these days , one has to wonder about the existence of logic and common sense.Maybe it can be salvaged by a 2nd season where the couple actually get together. I gave the 5 stars acting for the two male actors I mentioned.

Watching this felt like waiting for paint to dry... at least the soundtrack tried its best.
"THE INTEREST OF LOVE : 4.5/10 – A SLOG MASQUERADING AS 'REALISM'"🔊 THE ONLY SAVING GRACES:
That soundtrack – The music deserved a better show.
A few raw moments – When it accidentally remembered it was a drama.
Asian workplace realism – The only relatable thing in this snail-paced misery.
💀 WHY IT’S ACTUALLY TERRIBLE:
The pace – Like watching cement dry while someone whispers "feel something."
The characters – All the emotional depth of cardboard cutouts in a wind tunnel.
The non-plot – 16 episodes of will-they-won’t-they with zero payoff.
☠️ THE "I DROPPED IT 3 TIMES" EXPERIENCE:
First try: "Maybe it gets better?"
Second try: "Why am I doing this to myself?"
Third try: "I’d rather reorganize my sock drawer."
🎯 FINAL VERDICT:
"A masterclass in how to make yearning feel like watching paint peel." Only watch if: You enjoy self-punishment or need insomnia relief. Otherwise? Run.

And the ending tho, after going through lots of things, they are still not together, and they just leave us with them walking together, looking at each other, like telling how much I miss you, I love you, then what Suyeong gonna do, she will accept him now or she will just stay single forever ????
Actually I feel Moon Gayoung doesn't really suit a quiet girl character, like when she smile, I feel somehow of awkward, but other than that, everything is perfect. I love her characters more in True Beauty.

This poem sums up the essence of the series.
Ha Sang-Su and Ahn Su-Yeong fall in love at work. He a very gentle, cautious and responsible man and she, a woman insecure by traumas in her youth, who is very afraid of disappointment.
His feelings for Su-Yeong are so strong that Sang-Su opens his heart to her and confesses how he feels. However, due to her personal fears, she is so cautious that she rejects him for fear of disappointment. Nevertheless, her behavior signto him what feelings she also harbors. He remains touchingly persistent, yet stubborn and tries to win her over again and again, which unfortunately only reinforces her insecurities.
Despite the clear feelings they both have, she keeps her distance and keeps rejecting him.
The actors bring an incredible intensity to the screen. I felt for both of them and suffered with both of them.
In the end, both find a ruthless honesty with each other and confess their true feelings and realize which of their behaviors have blocked their love. It remains to be seen how it ends.
The soundtrack sensitively emphasizes the depth of feelings such as longing and despair.
This series is really thought-provoking and makes it impressively clear that love needs courage to be able to live it.

Don’t waste your time
It had a really good leading story in the beginning but it just starts to get boring after each episode… oh gosh. I had to skip many parts. So just don’t waste your time on this drama, for real. It’s a very slow drama, with very good actors though, however, the story is just not good.
They would stare at each other for a few seconds so many times, which gets boring after some time so I had no option, I had to keep skipping some staring parts.
I feel like she was very toxic and just drags everyone around her down. I felt so bad for him in the whole drama.

Not Good Enough
Korean Drama " The Interest of Love " is an office melodrama. The drama is heavy when it came to the melodrama of the romance, with messy relationships and complicated heroes that didn't express their feelings to each other, often leading to frustrating situations. Hence, the story was boring and tiring to watch. The characters were annoying too, especially the main female lead who was all over the place.
The performances were, on the other hand, good enough, with the actors and actresses handling their characters nicely.
The pace was okay as well.
So, overall, three out of ten.

A Realistic Drama
The acting, music, writing, and production were superb. I watched the series three times and feel sad that there are no more episodes or series. Korea is known for its good dramas, but so many on Netflix are comprised of impossible plots, silly characters. However, the Interest of Love is a fantastic character study aided by the great acting of all the major stars. No gimmicks, but a story of love, its dangers, its heartbreaks, its happiness. Some questions I had: What was the brief glimpse of Mr. Ha and Miss Ahn going into hotel room 1243 at the introduction to a new episode (episode 13). It was never shown again or developed. Was it a scene cut out? Did Mr. Jung, the police officer, ever pay Miss Ahn back the money? If Moon Ka Yeung acts in a similar drama, I would like to know.Aside from romance, it dealt with some of the problems of Korean society, its foibles, its problems.
This has become my favorite Korean drama and perhaps I will watch it a fourth timenext year!

Only memorable things: good looking leads and disappointing story
I was looking for a wholesome, chill workplace romance but only got a pea sized portion of it. This happened in the first episode and things just went constantly downhill after it. The writing was less than average, and I just couldn't connect to the story. The characters were a lot of times one dimensional and their decisions didn't make sense. This drama is just another example of when writers decide that the plot should move the story instead of the characters. I think particularly, the female lead Sooyoung bothered me. She just felt like a caricature and all over the place, due to the bad writing. It felt like a waste of Moon Gayoungs talent. On the other hand, Yoo Yeonseok characters felt more dimentional and his acting was good. Overall, it just wasn't what I expected but the bad writing heavily limited my enjoyment. Was this review helpful to you?

it’s an interesting dynamic
The relationships are carefully woven in this one. I would say there was some frustration when the characters couldn’t communicate very well for so many episodes. in the end, it all tied together and when you realize what has happened, you’ll likely love it.The relationships are carefully woven in this one. Lot of ups and downs - No clear ending
The Interest of Love was translated as "Investimento de Risco" (Risk investiment) in Brazil by Netflix. I don´t know why. It tried to show a deep and complex relationship between two main central couples, but it failed as there as many ups (good moments) and downs. Last episode is the worst showing lots of past moments. It looks like that directors didn´t know what to do or finish the story. Unfortunately, actor Yoo Yeon-seok starts playing his role very well in the initial episodes but he loses his "bright" as good actos he used to be.Was this review helpful to you?

Do not waste your time!
This has to be one of the most catfishing shows I have ever seen. On the outside, it looks amazing. The cinematography is absolutely beautiful, the overall tone and mood of the show is so nice. You would think that this is going to be the best show that you have ever seen with such beautiful filming and such a strong cast? Nope. This was so, so, SO boring. It was impossible for me to really make it past the first 3 episodes. The idea at first was promising but after that first episode, it just blows up in your face. It takes 5 episodes to get past one simple issue when it really could have easily been fixed with a single conversation. The main female lead is absolutely gorgeous and her character shows some good potential, but she just becomes absolutely insufferable after a while alongside her annoying male lead. She never speaks her mind so it causes all of the beginning episodes to be wrapped up in the same issue.
The main male lead is so annoying. He keeps playing different things. He begs one second, the other second, he is too good for the world. It is so pointless. This paired up with the annoying main female lead does not make for a good show at all, whatsoever. The little backstory between the male main lead and the security guard was alright but again, it was so drawn out that it was boring to follow after a while. Don't do it to yourself.
