Zhou Ye goes against his father’s orders to remain in the Eastern Capital as he is determined to save the people of Youzhou. Jiu Si meets his uncle and continues to bluff that Wangdu has enough armed forces to beat the Liang army. However, Master Zhao escapes from prison and informs Lord Liang that there are only 10,000 armed forces protecting Wangdu. Lord Liang decides to conquer Wangdu as quickly as possible. Jiu Su and Yu Ru come to terms with dying together.

The first defense was pretty realistic in how it played out. Brutal, but effective defensive strategies by Jiu Si prove out and hold off Liang's forces, costing the latter a 5th of his men. The second battle did beg the question of why do a sorte' out through the gates to engage the enemy? Better by far in this.situation to stay behind the walls and defend the gate and walls. But it was still exciting action nevertheless. One last quibble is how on earth did Ye Shi'An morph into Legolas? LOL!!! Finally got a true, passionate kiss between the leads during the lull between the battles. And Zhou Ye returns just in time. Hopefully Qin Wan also shows up? Great if those two could finally meet on the battlefield.

That was an amazing battle scene. I absolutely loved it. I don't know if Wan'er or Zhou Ye get to them first but I hope they meet on the battlefield and find true kinship and love.

good BGM and the battle scenes were good.my emotions were in a roller coaster.i was either crying or screaming at the screen. and wanting to personally wipe the smirk of Liangs face. thank you drama for not leaving the episode in sad cliffhanger.

for some soppy sentiments during a lull in the battle. That kiss was a long time coming and I can see they need more practice. It's given Yuru the energy to pound the drums and Juisi to swing his spear. Luckily just when things were going south, a guy on a white horse appears.
