Realizing his parents are in a difficult predicament with the Emperor, Jiu Si steps up and marries Yu Ru despite the misunderstanding. After the wedding, he lets Yu Ru know that they can dissolve the marriage when they find their true love, which upsets Yu Ru, who has already resigned to make the marriage work. Jiu Si’s mother finally understands the confusion and encourages Yu Ru to stay strong, providing her with all the support she needs.
