The quirky Deka Wanko helps little kids find their missing dog, stumbling on a dead body in the process. The 13th division, Murder Crimes Investigation is on the case. Koma-san and Shige-san argue over their different ways of investigation and no one believes Deka Wanko lead based on smell. This time with the help of Gara-san she learns that all senses must be used to solve a case, not just smell.

Digging Deeper

Deka Wanko is approving as our rookie detective is faced with reality, smell alone cannot be evidence. Besides a little growth in her we start to see more of the other characters and how the interact with each other. In particular, Shige-san and Koma san. They love to argue and poor Yana is caught in the middle. Can't wait to see the rest of the characters shine. Nice episode.
