I'm watching this for Tian Jia Rui, Riley Wang, and Joseph Zeng. Already it seems a little slow and unexciting. From the reviews I've read, it sounds like it won't get any better. I'll watch the first five episodes before I make a decision.

In this episode, Fan Yun struggles with financial hardship and has asked to marry the good-for-nothing city lord, Qi Zheng by the three elders of Nine Cities for 500 taels. This episode also introduces the three elders of the Nine Cities and their tactics to control the city lord.

Well, so far nothing can hinder me from seeing more episodes. For a drama that was shot in 2023, it is understandable that the plot is kind of outdated. But I love all of the cast, especially the ML—he is so adorable with his puppy eyes.
