It looks like I'm the only one but I hated this episode, might've turned me off from the whole show, FL just got blatantly manipulated and toyed with, yikes

"Why isn't the door soundproof?" THAT WAS SO FUNNY! Thank goodness for the Empress that cared about Zisheng and so she directly asked Niaoniao abt it. And niaioniao didn't disappoint us! Urm... I kind of understand why the Emperor gave that punishment... Oof it was hard to watch. Oh my god. The Emperor was so devious and I like it. You know I can deduce this... Zisheng deliberately do this and willing to go through all this to see how deep Niaoniao feeling is for him. See.. Niaoniao promised to not keep secret from him and not act on her own. Dammn this kind of crazy. Not her figure it out too. They communicated! Pfft I was wondering when her parents wld appear... It looks like niaonioa stayed in the palace nearly a month I guess. So I read the other reviews and I agree with one that also mentioned Third Prince shld be the crown Prince. That was in my mind too. It just bcs of his connection with Marquess Yue that was what makes me side eyeing him.

I love this episode so much because we finally get to see how much Niao Niao cares for Ling Buyi. Up until now she was still figuring it out and trying to understand how to be with him without compromising her true self. We finally get to see her letting down her walls and finally letting him into her heart fully. It's an added plus that the emperor is truly on their team and wants them to succeed as a couple.

I think the beating of LBY by Emperor gave CSS the final awareness of love towards to LBY. And his majesty is super nice to LBY. I’m glad he is behind LBY no matter what. The story of part 2 is as good as part 1.

Ahh! I loved this episode sm. This drama just keeps getting better and better. I love how the Emperor ships our main couple more than we do. He so funny too. I love him and I love the dynamic between the Emperor, Empress and Consort Yue. Also, I'm leaning more towards the Third Prince, he deserves to be the Crown Prince tbh.
