Though there’s an age gap in Hidden love, the premise is still of 2 people who’ve spent their early lives in a friendly borderline sibling relationship uncovering/developing feelings for each other in their adulthood. Watching the shift in their dynamics gives a similar heartwarming feeling in both. The ost, color palette and lowkey slice of life vibe are well done in both

Both the dramas are sweet. These both gives the same vibes .The situation of the male lead in their past is similar in both the dramas. While the difference is between the parents support.

This is a story of how the 'rabbit' (Gu An Xin) brings home a 'big bad wolf' (Ling Yue) when she chances upon the hotshot executive after an accident. His injuries and the accident were the result of an ugly fight for succession at a powerful conglomerate. But none of that was evident initially; he first appeared stupid but slowly proved himself to be a genius.

I feel both are quite same just the themes and the story line is different.
In both the main leads are mature and understand each others feeling I like both of the drams just I prefer HL then P&C.

Both are slow-building friends-to-lovers plots with very sweet moments as they get together. Additionally:
--The couples are mutually supportive, not a damsel in distress scenario.
--No extended misunderstandings or major traumas.
--Both MLs are total green flags.
--Lots of heart-fluttering moments.

It is similar in terms of their dynamics, both feature:
- older male/younger female mcs
- ml used to tutor fl
- age gap
Also certain scenes like:
- ml came to fl's parent teacher meeting
overall both are just feel good, stress-free romcoms!!

the story isn't same but the chasing part is there just in HL female lead chases first where as in MFB male lead chases first

It's similar in the sense that both main characters sorta share the same dynamics.

In Hidden Love, ml was sort of a brother figure to her before actually becoming her love interest and similarly in YAMU, ml was also an older brother, guardian figure towards the fl before romance actually bloomed between them.

Both dramas are very fluffy, light-hearted, big on family dramas! Though YAMU might be a bit more angsty, both of em are still the best if you're in the mood for a fun, funny and sweet drama!

zhao lusi is my favorite actress, and she portrays the characters very well in these two dramas. she has the same charisma and uplifting aura in romance of tiger and rose compared to hidden love, so give it a shot!
