Street Dance of China Season 5 Episode 1

No subs on YT/Youku Show channel

Youku Show channel kept hyping S5 with daily clips."Battle for Hope" they said."Jiayou!" I said.I had hoped that I'd be able to watch this on YT just like the previous seasons. I even "joined" their channel and paid my due. Still no subs. :( I can't imagine WHY they'd do this. I know they want intl viewers to get their app but there's no Win version. I refuse to dl it on my phone tho. This dick move makes me RESIST getting the app even more. I really wanted to see Kyoka and the other young dancers. But I had to keep pausing the stream today, and backtrack just to hear the names of the performing contestants. With no English sub, I'm not sure if I heard their names right, especially for the local dancers whose Engl names are not provided.Compared to the pilot of the previous seasons (I have watched parts of S1, S2, and all of S3 and S4) this S5E1 has less fanfare, it was underwhelming, tbh. XinXin is a delight to watch tho in her short dance with MT Pop. Nathan Scott Lee is still charming and cute with Mr Three. No Kyoka yet tho, maybe next episode.This has got to be the most disappointing sdc pilot ever. Youku, please do better.
