Ru Yi agrees to meet Li Tong Guang and mentions that Wu is willing to exchange cities for the safe return of their ruler. Li Tong Guang does not give an explicit answer. Instead, he requests Ru Yi to sit down with her eyes closed and for her to keep quiet. Just like what he did in the past, he sat beside Ru Yi's knees and enjoyed the nostalgic feelings he had in the past. A Journey to Love Episode 18 Reactions
Some parts are funny, but overall an intense episode, full of emotions and feelings. Li Tong Guang shows a side of himself never seen before and even manages to win your sympathy. On the other hand, all of Ning Yuan Zhou's dreams and ideals for the future with Ru Yi are ruined after he talks to her.

I don’t think I have choked up and cried so much watching a C-Drama ever. The love and respect between the ML and FL scenes always left me so emotional. They win the toughest, sexiest, best looking couple award to me.

It's probably one of my favorite episodes which I laugh so hard. The minions listening into the conversation between Ruyi and Jiu and the conversations among themselves was the highlight for me.

The relationship is at a crossroads. Ruyi wants what she's got now and Ning wants to retire and have her to himself. Yang Ying and Yuanlu and to be the go-betweens and all the hangers-on are funny as hell trying to deal with the fall-out of love's turmoil.
