He orders Deng Hui to select 20 members and execute them outside the palace. When Ru Yi and Ning Yuan Zhou reach the site, the execution is already in place. Burnt offerings is one way to get things off your chest while enjoying a spectacle with an arm around a loved one, The other couple (Marquis and intended) are also having a moment of horseplay.

The Calm Before the Storm

Today's episode is unfolding rather slowly for now, but I'll be patiently waiting, knowing that the anticipated angst will likely build up in the last episodes. On a positive note, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment that Ruyi (RRY) and NYZ shared. Their scenes added a delightful touch to the episode, making it worthwhile.
