Must watch for great comedic lines and acting
I am shocked by the low rating for this BL!!! This is probably one of my FAVOURITE BLs!!! I real love the MLs and the 2nd MLs on this show! The story line is really good. The humour and dialect is entertaining. Hands down in my top 3 BLs if not my #1 favourite one! I love how the ending wraps up and hope they have a second season!!! I know they have one for the 2 MLs and I watched that one but it wasn't as good as this one.Was this review helpful to you?
Something that makes your heart flutter
Good execution of a straightforward plot. Just the exact amount of salt that enhances the taste.
They really succeeded in demonstrating how human emotions work....we can make mistakes....we can be devastated after being betrayed...but as long as we understand our feelings and what we want rather than being influenced by past experiences( which will always influence us in present moments.)
Actors have done a fantastic job of capturing their emotions on screen. Their lines are delivered so beautifully that it pleases the eyes and heart.

THIS KBL IS AMAZING !
I love this drama with all of my heart ! All parts of it is amazing. From casts, scenes, emotions — everything.I feel butterflies in my stomach everytime I see the main casts in one screen; they just give those kind of feeling to me. One eye to eye then I'll die. Their acting was so good I feel everything they want the audience to feel. The time when Taejoon and Wonyoung broke up, I really bawled my eyes out. I was like crying from episode 7 to 10, they whole time they have broken up. I felt almost all kinds of emotions.
I also love the side couple too ! I remember watching Won Taemin (Go Hotae) in You Make Me Dance. His personality in this series is really different from that one. That just proves that he can act well. And I can't miss out his tattoos ! I really love those. I love their chemistry. I'm hoping that they will have their own series.
To conclude this all, YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY WATCH ULS OR ELSE YOU'RE MISSING SOMETHING REALLY GOOD ! I hope I can see them in one series again. ❤️

Fantastic drama
Oh how much i enjoyed this drama, it had everything i could ask for. The story was great, the visuals stunning and beautiful music. The production did an amazing job.The actors all did a great job!
The main couple had amazing chemistry, i was a bit sad that it were dead kisses, but they were filmed in a way that i wasn't mad at it.
I also loved the second couple, they had great dynamics. I saw they have their own spinn-off, so i am watching that one next! I am really looking foreward to it.
This is a real must watch, it's one of the best Korean BL's i have seen.

very standard, very mid, but worth watching nonetheless
Unintentional Love Story is a pretty standard KBL. The storyline itself is interesting enough, though we have ✨miscommunication✨ and ✨unnecessary drama✨.My issue overall is the writing of the main couple. The main characters aren’t terribly interesting, nor is their chemistry through the roof. The intimacy and affection, if any, are kept sterile and minimal. In this case, too minimal. There is an uncomfortable power dynamic between the main couple, keeping me from properly loving them or getting invested in them. The acting didn‘t really have any obvious flaws, but wasn’t outstanding, either.
Overall, very mid, BUT SO WORTH IT FOR THE SIDE COUPLE. It‘s like this show is keeping you on your toes for The Time of Fever. I love the side couple with all my heart, the bits and pieces we get thrown, the warmth and love we get shown in the 1-2 scenes per episode.

bom, eu gostei inicialmente mas depois fiquei "entediada" assistindo os episódios, não que fossem ruins mas a história não me prendia, sabe quando você fica vidrado e ansioso pra assistir? eu não fiquei assim. o elenco, cenários são lindos, principalmente a casa 🤩. confesso que gostei mais do casal secundário do que o principal. uma coisa que não gostei: o wy fica sempre falando "desculpa" ou "senhor", e eu não gosto desse tipo de dinamica mas é so minha opinião 🧌 🤕 e também ele parecia ser meio "boco" kkkkk mas eu gosto do personagem.Was this review helpful to you?
I really didn't want to dock any points, but this had to be said.
Honestly I love this series. I found the prologue by accident (which I didn't hate but it left me feeling very unfulfilled and empty) and mistakenly thought this series was about the secondary couple. I was actually really enjoying both couples, especially in the beginning before the relationship happened because the tension was great and you can really tell the actors are good at their job!So yeah, cute couples, amazing story, even better acting .... HOWEVER, the one spot the acting failed is convincing me these people (the main couple, not the secondary one.. they had hella chemistry and you can tell others think so too from the reviews) actually like each other and aren't just playing a role. The hugs are stiff and all in the same awkward pose (the love interest doesn't even lean his head on his supposeed boyfriend's shoulders while they hug... is that even natural???), the kisses have absolutely no emotion-- like I'm not asking them to make out( I'm used to more closed lipped kisses in series like this where the NC or intimacy isn't the focus, especially KBLs) but in one scene I can even tell bro does NOT want to be kissing his coworker... how does that make sense? I've seen hella bad chemistry before but this is the first time when I could 100% accurately say that tell two actors did not want to be kissing in a particular scene. crazy. It but a weird taste in my mouth for the rest of the intimacy scenes. Especially the last episode? Wtf it's like y'all don't even want to hold hands it's so awkward
TL;DR .. Um, if you came for heart fluttering kiss scenes and cute skinship/fluff, this might not be it for you, but the romance is still tolerable and the story is still amazing! I won't be rewatching personally, but you should give it a chance idk

Predictable and Unpredictable At The Same Time
**Brief Synopsis**B (Employee): Ji
T (Artist): Yoon
Beginning: B is an employee who has recently been discharged because a misunderstanding. Not knowing what to do in the main time, he goes on a trip to a small coastal town and meets T. T is an artist and the favorite artist of the ceo of the company B works at. Immediately B recognizes him and had this brilliant idea of approaching T and convince him to return to the art world and world with their company, hoping this will be enough to convince the ceo to allow him back to work. At first, B only sees T as a ticket back to his old life, but unexpectedly an attraction starts to develop between them and before he knew it he was falling for the other man.
Middle: The more B feels for T the guiltier he felt about the lies he told T. It got even worst after B confesses to T and T accepts and asks him out. B started hesitating whether he should tell T the truth but when T told him how he was hurt in the past by trusting the wrong person, B gives up the idea of telling T the truth, afraid that it will break them up. He decides to give up on using T and let things happen naturally and if he doesn't get hired back, he'll try to find another job. And if the company forcec him to use T he'll resign. But before anything could happen, T finds out about B's reason for being here and freaks out. No matter how many times B tries to tell him he didn't pretend to love him for the company, T doesn't believe him and tells him he doesn't want to see him again. B continues his efforts of convincing T of his feelings but T just wouldn't listen.
End: B returns to his job in the main time but he is still broken up by what is going on with T. His efforts to letting T know he hasn't lied about his feelings wasn't working. He tries to work but it's obvious it wasn't working. T on the other hand isn't doing any better. But luckily he has a friend to talk it over with. The friend tells him that B isn't lying when he said he loved him and T shouldn't let the past dictate his future and make him miss out on what could be the best thing that could happen to him. T has a flashback to a previous time when B was drunk and told him he hadn't expected to fall for him. He realizes that B might be serious and finally forgives him. B and T finally meets and T asks him to get back together which he agrees. In the end, B did quit his job after his manager asked him once more to use T. The series ends with them together.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- I loved and hated how real it was. B hesitating whether he should give up his career for T and ended up not to give up is just so real. Since he was the one to bring up using T, the company didn't force him to do anything, he had no other people then himself to blame. And he had debts to think of and couldnt give up so easily. He only quit at the end because he knew the company will continue using him to get to T if he stayed so it's better for him to find another job.
- I love the buildup. The acting was great and the actors had great chemistry together. The show felt real.
- The cinematography was beautiful. It felt like a high quality production.
- The pacing was good and the progression of their relationship felt natural. We were actually rooting for the couple and each step they take towards each other feels like a small victory.
- The characters were very relatable and their actions made sense in the context of the show. These are normal people falling in love for the first time and we are only along for the ride. I also love the side characters. They are charming in their own way and help the main characters grow.
- The leads look gorgeous together. They just fit and seeing them kiss is a visual masterpiece.
WHAT I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT
- I didn't like the lack of communication at the end. Athough the motivation are understandable but B should have been more honest with his feelings and told T before hand about the company. Although it would have been a little better but hope much better is debatable because B did end up choosing the company over T. And T not believing him is understandable because of his past traumas.
- It's a slow burn and outside their relationship nothing else happens. Everything surrounds the couple.
- There aren't any intimate scenes but the hugging and kissing scenes are enough to make you heart flutter. And they look gorgeous together.
- B tries to do everything himself, only messing things up. He should try to rely more on T.
**Conclusion**
A very high quality show that should be watched.

One of the most wholesome K-BLs ever
it's such a heartwarming story and i'm so sad i waited so long to watch this. i binged all 10 eps in one night and it's just so wholesome. the drama is like a warm cup of milk. it's not fast pace but it also isn't too slow. some plot points unbelievable but it's fine this is a bl drama. im obsessed with how sunshine/sunshine protector the main couple is, soooooo 100% my fave trope. some stiff acting at first but it gradually gets better and i love gongchan's portrayal of wonyoung so much (i will protect you in gothic font). i really like how the drama emphasized some of the key traits in this couple (wonyoung's earnest sincerity, brightness and hardworking, taejun's protectiveness, his journey to overcome his past of being betrayed/used by his ex and his slowly falling for gongchan who's completely from his ideal type). all in all i love the drama so much. if you're feeling down on a rainy day (so many rainy scenes with the main cp I LOVE IT), i would 100% recommend this drama.Was this review helpful to you?
A must watch!
This was such a good show, very cute. Yes, the kisses were... not good. They did the lip touch thing or used shadows. I have noticed this, so far, in every BL I've seen that stars a K-Pop idol.The other ML is also engaged with a baby on the way. There could be many reasons why the actors weren't comfortable kissing. Or it could be a creative decision from directors. Who knows, I am just speculating. It could be that nothing is related to why the kisses are flat.
Regardless, the kissing is the only thing that could pull me back to reality and remind me, hey this is just a show because their acting otherwise was AMAZING! I was so engrossed start to finish. I think a lot of the song choices being songs by the actual actors themselves, was a wonderful touch. It's the first time I actually took notice to songs in the background.
I do wish that some of the conflicts were resolved with more justice and more clearly. I also wish we got more of the side couple! Everything was just resolved so quickly it left me wanting more details for closure!

could this be the best k-bl of 2023 ?
Don't get deterred by the relatively low rating, if you love classic k-drama romance, this will be your thing!Finally, we got a longer running time per episode which is a huge step forwards for the Korean BL shows that are usually simple and short ^^ The Korean BLs did not come to play around this year and I'm so happy for that !!!!! <3 I honestly think that this k-bl is THE BEST k-bl currently out! The cast and crew clearly care about the show so much and promote it really well. If you love classic k-drama plots, romantic cliches and tropes, you'll fall in love with the two couples. If not..well, you might get bored, since the relationships are developing slowly and gradually. The episodes are accompanied by a wonderful soundtrack and a beautiful scenery set in a beach town, and the chemistry between the actors is 10 out 10.
The only downsides are the dead-fish kiss scenes, but oh well, we are used to that by this point, not only in the k-bl industry but in Korean drama overall, so I wasn't surprised and didn't have any hopes for the kisses. Regardless, there are many other scenes that radiate super intense chemistry of the couples so I was satisfied with the series. I cannot express how overjoyed I felt after I found out the show is getting a spin-off/season 2, so do not worry if you liked the second couple more than the main couple ;) they'll get their turn, I'm sure!
My favourite character in this show was Won Young. The actor is extremely cute and his eyes are unusually expressive, so I could not help falling in love with him alongside Tae Joon.
