Shen Qin is jealous. The prince is in love with the one with her face and the general seems to love the new Shen Qin. She decides to test the general by sending him the intimate painting she had Shi Qi paint for her. The general is far from happy seeing it, he even asks his advisor to look closely to see if really her.😝🫣😬 He knows the picture is not telling the story the sender wants him to believe. Yuan Bao shares the painting that Shi Qi shared with her and told him all about how that was the first time mom saw him and fell in love with him. The general was all ears and asked for every detail. He compares the paintings and notes the signature blocks and similar calligraphy. He even goes to the brothel and verifies with her friend that Shi Qi is the painter. He has figured out that he’s married the painter and no longer needs to look for her. He asks her about the painting and right when she is confessing all her feelings for him morning sickness strikes. When chatting with the doctor the general tells him nothing better happen to his child so the doc is now free from his promise and is very relieved everybody knows. Shi Qi has another meeting with Shen Qin and tells her there is one more task for her to do and then she will be with her sister. She shares some of her history. How the prince was kind to her when her brothers were trying to see if she could hurt herself. She said only two people cared about her. The general wants to go to the night market and hold hands with her and eat candied hawthorns. She notes a longevity locket and he eyes it for later. So does the prince. They both buy the same one but the general’s will have the right heart words. She is struck on accident and collapses and the prince ends up taking her home. While waiting for the physician, the prince is bragging that the child is his. Shi Qi apologizes for lying. The general is a bit concerned considering the topic. What she confesses is that she is ShiQi and has Shen Qin’s face. The prince thinks she has made up an outrageous tale to deny him, but the general is pondering. The face change wasn’t expected but he knows she is not Shen Qin. She apologizes to the prince and says she can prove she is not Shen Qin. And there episode ends😝
