Shen Zhen dressed as a bride and left Wuzhou City smoothly and came to the joint, but Lu Shi Yan was nowhere to be seen. Although Lu Shi Yan successfully obtained the "live ledger" and captured Zhao Chong as a witness, Wu Zhou was surrounded by Zhao Chong's people. In order to keep his promise to save Shen Zhen's father, Lu Shi Yan ordered Yang Zong to leave with the witnesses first while he cut off the rear on the river. Pang Shu led his men in pursuit. Although Lu Shi Yan fought hard and seriously injured Pang Shu, he was injured too. Fortunately, the jade pendant on his chest blocked the arrow and saved his life.

That was pretty spectacular rafter fighting. His injuries looked terminal but as in most of these dramas the hero just can't die just lie unconscious, feverish on a pallet for three days while he is being nursed back to health by the female heroine who must incompetantly undress him to administer treatment.
