Ending explains a lot of faults

Throughout this drama, I saw a lot of theories, a lot of praises and complaints. For me the drama overall, was really fun to watch. It was frustrating, intriguing, and saddening. Before the ending, my main complaints were that there are a lot of plot holes and a lot of rules with the game that didn’t make sense and weren’t well thought out.

I had a lot of confusion with how the mafia rules differed from the citizens and what could or couldn’t have been done. In the beginning, when the first night comes, everybody drops to the floor, including the mafia but later, on in the drama, you see that they aren’t affected by the bell anymore. and you can say that they were affected on the first night bells because it was the first night and I agree that they were just getting into playing the game and understanding the rules of themselves so that’s why everybody fell asleep the first night.

Another plot hole that I noticed was how people could die. Even after watching the drama, the rules to me where 1-mafia could only kill one person per night, and that one person had to be a unanimous agreement. 2-one person would die after the voting that took place during the day, based on a majority vote. 3-you would die if you broke any of the following rules (leaving the area, not voting, killing without agreement) by the end of the drama a lot of what I thought were the rules kind of ended up being forgotten.

In the last two episodes when Jin Da Beom kills Im Eun Chan & Choi Mina I was confused why he hadn’t broken a rule because I thought that you could only kill one person per night and it had to be agreed-upon. Even if the last two mafia agreed to kill everybody, wouldn’t it still break the rules because they killed more than one person. You could say that technically JDB didn’t kill IEC because he died from suffocation with a bag over his head. To me that seems like a grey area where I’m not sure if that’s my lack of understanding the rules or just a polt hole from the writers. There are many more instances in which situations happen that have plot holes or are left with confusion because of the rules that I thought prior. But I think the ending really brings everything together and closes all those plot holes.

The end of the drama is basically that the game that they have been playing is a literal game and it’s a simulation game that they have to play over and over and over again. They’re playing this game because of their classmate Park SeEun’s parents who want to get revenge on their class for the rumor that was spread causing her suicide. The fact that the game that they have been playing is an actual game can explain why things happen that we don’t necessarily understand or can’t find answers to. That’s because in any game that we play they are going to be errors, bugs, messed up codes, etc.. Oh Jung Won is the perfect example as to why everything plays out perfectly. Her character ends up being a programmed character into the game that ends up having some sort of error that allows her to have feelings and emotions, and make conscious decisions. So anything that has happened prior to the ending that seemed weird or confusing can basically be explained by the fact that it is a game it’s a simulation there there might be an error in the code or a bug that needs to be fixed which allows the drama to be imperfect, and have things that we might not understand.

I think this ending really rounded the whole drama into this scary yet intriguing story that can be more messed up than the murders that are going on and can have many of outcomes because of the possibility of an error.

✧I could say a lot more about this drama, but that would take a lot of writing. But if anything about this drama seems interesting to you. I would highly recommend giving it a watch. It can be gruesome at times, but there are parts of the story that are very genuine and heart wrenching.

Warning: 'Night Has Come' May Disappoint – Beware Before Watching!

Just finished Night Has Come, and wow—this show is like Squid Game meets Truth or Dare with a horror twist. It starts off strong with a school retreat that turns into a deadly Mafia game, and it definitely keeps you on edge.

There were some intense moments that had me hooked, but also a lot of things that made zero sense. First off, the game’s rules? Confusing as hell. And why did the police and the doctor barely get any screen time? They could’ve added so much more to the story.

Jun Hee and some of the main characters had crazy plot armor—like, no matter what happened, you just knew they weren’t really in danger. In a survival horror show, that kind of ruins the suspense. And what was up with Yoon Seo’s photographs? They felt so random. Also, that twist about Jung Won being an AI? Came out of nowhere and had me sitting there like, “Wait, what?”

Some characters really went through hell for no reason, which made me think—are they setting up for a second season? Because there are way too many loose ends.

On the plus side, the show tackles serious topics like bullying really well. But the pacing? A mess. Character development? Hit or miss. It’s definitely a wild watch, but be ready for a lot of “huh?” moments. If they do a second season, they better clean things up because this ending left me with more questions than answers.

EXPECTED more from the ending

I get that it was the parent’s revenge for their daughter but having them in the timeloop can eventually kill everyone.

At some point, they need to understand that Yoon-Seo winning was Se-Eun trying to help her survive.

It was also unfair that the others in the class may not have known about the video or i would say “innocent” from Se-Eun’s death.

I almost thought that the parents are somewhat sadistic, idk

but a better ending would be that they have watched all of the things that they did during the game and everyone eventually wakes up with the parents explaining the game.

Should You Watch?

I gave this a try despite several negative warnings in the media. I found myself binging - unable not to watch each next episode. The story and predicament of the characters is intriguing, and the short fast paced episodes hard to resist. These high school kids make some odd choices, but given their ages within the story it's believable. It is obvious early on that given the fantastic and impossible and 'supernatural' things that are happening that this must be some sort of unreal dream scenario. All the impossible things are OK if the ending satisfactorily ties matters up. However, that's the downside - the last 15 or 20 minutes will likely leave you unsatisfied. Does all the good story telling that comes before compensate for the soft ending? I found it did and enjoyed the binge.

This was poorly written and execute, yet I want more...

I dont even know how to bring my review into words. The story didnt make much sense on a logical aspect. Its like they just wrote anything and didnt think about the logistics. The acting wasnt that good on the main MAIN character parts but the rest of the mains acting was pretty solid. The story just felt like it was just doing and saying anything. Didnt even get to understand and learn about the characters story so i didnt even have to chance to care if Jun hee or Yoon seo died. Even the parents are written poorly. And this was really predictable.

"Your the first person to win the game" They were trying so hard to make the girl the main character omg like Jun hee ALSO won. And why the tf did the parent incorparate romance into the game, like why make scenes of Yoon seo staring at Jun hee WHY would they even do that made no sense. HOW would they even know Yoon seo like Jun hee.

Now. I see complete potential for a season 2, this whole season felt like a filler and like a pilot or trailer for what big to actually come. They shouldnt even consider this a season tbh lol. I felt like it would have been more entertaining if the mains knew the circumstances they were really in.

I strangely want more. Not because its a clifhanger either, this could have ended just like that and id still look forward to a season 2.

if you love horror and thriller

This was a great watch. I don’t regret the hours I spent watching this. I’m such a big fan of out of the box storylines and this gave me exactly that. If you watched all of us are dead then I’m certain you would like this one. I like that, it was based in a high school Setting which makes it more fun because there were no “adults” And it was literally just teens, fighting to survive without adult intervention. It’s worth every minute so check it out As soon as you can, and avoid spoilers

A great watch

This was a great drama. The plot had alot of potential and was well written with a few loopholes although it was stable in the end. The end was a little confusing but sure was good. Im thinking there'd be a season 2 as the ending left off a clifhanger. It gave alot of Enigma( thai drama) vibes to me at some point of time. But was sure as hell good. The actors played their roles greatly and alot of the characters could not have died. I believe that Ko lying jun and Choi Mina had alot of potential compared to other characters and The end where they show that there were rumors abt Park Se Eun It felt like there was a huge loophole. And on addition to all of that the statue in the Youth center was Out of the box I feel. This drama isn't a horror drama it's more like a Sci-fi or Mystery drama as there really isn't no ghost so if anyone is gonna watch this drama please keep in mind that there is no ghost.

Plot Holes But Overall Enjoyable

The idea of a Death Game isn't exactly new, but I usually always enjoy them. So I did like this drama too, but I didn't love it. The writing had quite a few holes, but it didn't really bother me because I wasn't super invested and just didn't really feel the tension. It wasn't that the stakes weren't high--they were, but I think because the characters weren't developed like they should've been, I didn't care about anyone too strongly. Even Yoonseo, who's supposed to be the lead, hardly felt developed.
I also guessed they were really in a game a few episodes in (or it was all dream) just because of the way the kids lost control and killed themselves and because of the moment everyone suddenly remembered the girl who'd died in the real world. Also when Junhee suddenly came back to life. That was a pretty clear sign this wasn't real life.
But like I said, none of that really bothered me and I enjoyed the drama for what it was.

It's worth watching guys!

So finally i have completed the show and as person my experience, it's a nice show and even ending was explained but somewhat lacked in aspect of best ending, however the overall show and the mystery, the plot twists were all well done as per some reviews saying about plotholes of rules so the ending explained the reasons of some major plotholes as it was created by parents who wanted revenge hence they had already fixed the winner as Second main lead hence that was how the game worked according to them hence everyone in the game couldn't do other thing rather the one assigned to them and hence this show showed some mistakes that could happen when it is done by someone not so experienced. Overall the show was quite entertaining and my review doesn't change but i reduced one star from story ratings as i didn't find the ending good.

I am leaving my previous review too as some people had not even completed the show and still had audacity to write a negative review so it might clear your confusions,
As per the above reviews as we see they haven't fully completed the show yet and only 8 episodes have been aired till date and writing a review even before the whole kdrama has not been completed is already a very weird thing about them and basically all the questions everyone had in their mind about this drama are getting cleared slowing with upcoming new episodes so i don't like them judging the drama even before it gets complete.
Now i'll come to my point about this kdrama, I know the main female and main lead are lacking a bit in terms of acting but other actors like the bullies (girl and boy both) are pretty good at acting.... so you can watch it and the cliffhangers at the end are good in making us want to watch the next episode eagerly....and i really liked the concept of this kdrama. From my point of view, you must try this drama❤️.

Cool thriller but disappointing ending

I enjoy watching highschoolers in thrillers because its fun to see how they think and act as i am an highschooler too. This drama started on well it had surprising element. You wouldn't know who would be next. But by the end i felt it was rushed.

The drama had potential but it lacked in many places except the acting. I think actors did a great job with what they were given.

The ending: They should have shown more of seun, literally show like 20 secs of her, for us to truly feel what she went through. The way jungwon killed herself it indicated that seun wanted the games to come to an end. But the parents still kept it going bruh? They didnt know how to end the show so they just showed the game is still on. Otherwise they would have to show the students going back to their lives.
I don't care about the bullies being punished but the parents literally punished some innocent students and HER BEST FRIEND just for not knowing what she went through. It didn't make sense.

Overall, It's a okay one time watch.

it's a grower

the plot is slowly revealed, the acting gets better as the show goes in.

it's definitely an interesting show, and definitely deals with important topics (like the affects of bullying and of beig a bystander when someome is getting bullied, how ppl's will to leave can affect their morals when they are put in a situation like a killing game, it kinda talks about revenge too...)

the characters feel VERY human, which is something I value a lot in shows like these.

kinda curious about what would happen in a possible season 2, since the ending of season 1 is very open.

overall... a good show!

Night Has Come: An Overview

This was genuinely one of the most shocking and intense pieces of game thriller/horror I've ever watched in my life. Right from Episode 1 we are built this picture of a school trip to this youth center that slowly starts to go wrong, even when we know it's going to happen we don't know to what extent. Then as soon as Episode 2 rolls around we're thrown straight into the deep end of this gore-y and violent show and we have to follow each character blindly through whatever they face.

At first, I didn't like the ghost thing (until the final episode) because it felt like a bit of a side plot that didn't make any sense, plus how in Episodes 4 and 5, Yoon Seo just defies the laws of physics and no-clips out of reality which brought me out of the show a bit. It also felt like they kept forgetting that they had a ghost at points and just threw it in at points because they realized they needed to round that off. But luckily by Episode 12 it kind of gets explained as to why it exists. This ties into another one of my points that the ending just feels a bit... naff. It feels like a poor way of explaining why everything happened but then again this is a K-drama and normal real-world events don't happen.

Another thing I didn't enjoy that much was that we found out who the mafia was, albeit we learned each one in about 2 episode intervals, it still drew away from the mystery aspect of the show. I enjoyed up to Episode 6 trying to work out who the mafia was and working out why certain things happen, but they kind of just ruined it by showing us So Mi holding an axe over Yoon Seo's head T-T.

There were some high and some low episodes, namely Episode 11 was a disappointing low considering all the great episodes before it. I feel looking back, knowing what the ending is, some of the unexplained mysteries and random moments did all make sense; but at the time of my initial review, they just felt like an exposition to stretch out runtime.

Overall, I did enjoy this show. I was very emotional throughout it and the production and acting were just brilliant (even if they did act like a slice-of-life drama at points). I will be rewatching this even with the mystery of the ending gone, it's still just fun to watch!
