Waste of time, only watch if you are a big ZeeNunew or a Cutie Pie fan.
What was the point of this series really? I only watched because I love ZeeNuNew and TutorYim's chemistry. That, and Nuer and Syn of course. But where their 3 mins of screentime worthy of me watching this? Nah. I regret it heavily. So glad it's over. The only good thing was the cast, chemistry and the music.I was hoping the writing would have improved for part 2, sadly it didn't! Kuea is even more annoying than he was in Cutie Pie. Seriously all this time and he's learned nothing? He still acts like a toddler and handles things like a baby most of the time. UGH. Sad that the writers didn't have him evolve like Lian did. The only thing I liked was NuerSyn. Okay and ZeeNuNew's chemistry that was the draw for me. This could have easily just been one episode. Why drag it for 4? The plot made no sense when it was dragged out like this. It became boring, senseless and frustrating. Mostly it just left me in a bad mood with how annoying most of the characters were.
I only give it 2.0 Because of chemistry between ZeeNuNew and TutorYim + NuerSyn's sweetness. The rest was awful. Not watching this ever again. Like with Cutie Pie I appreciate what the writers were trying to do with marriage rights etc but again they failed for me. If they wanted to touch on sensible topicis write them better and esp write your main character much better. sigh. Oh well forwards and onwards, just hoping other DD series are better than this if not I'm gonna end up disappointed.

i watched only for Syn and Nuer
the only good thing about this serie is Syn and Nuer tbh, and even they cant save this show, there is nothing going on in this serie, barely anything, its just fan service and i was about to fall asleep when im watching thisi want to see Syn and Nuer in another serie but not a tiktok one, not a 2 mins videos no thank you, so i coudnt watch Our Winter and they have another tiktok one Crush on You ? why!!!!lets stop with those 2 min videos we can barely watch anything. i heard they have another new serie together about jade's character in bed friend so im looking forward for that one, i really hope the plot is good because i cant deal with nonsense and bs like this one and its not that cutie pie s1 was good, no it wasnt. Kuea's character is so frustrating to watch, he is that partner that will stress you out and give you gray hair in your 20-30 age, the guy cant communicate at all and is always whinning non stop. miscommunication happen to couples but he is the worst as 0 communication on his part, and he is great at assuming because thats the only thing he keep doing
the second couple look so stiff and so awkward so i also dont like them that much, the only couple i do love is Syn and Nuer and i really hope for good plot because no matter how much i love a couple, if the plot is so bad i will not be able to fully watch nor enjoy it

'Love is Love'
I am rarely the type to write reviews or comments since everyone is bound to their own opinions but sadly a lot of negativity here makes me compel to write what I felt watching this.Cutie Pie 2 you is not a series made for popularity or is not looking forward to showcase the perfect ever series. It is a gift to us, a gift to the fans for the success of cutie pie. yes, there were some things that were not upto the mark but the amount of hate here is just astronomical. This is liankuea's story, undoubtedly I love all the 3 couples but it is their own story, so I dont see any issue with the story focusing only on them. Although still the other couples got good amount of screentime. People asking for more nuersyn scenes, I hope ya'll can support tutoryim in Middleman's love and also bed friends.
Comments about kuea's character development, kuea is just 21 he finished his uni the question of choosing between dream and love its not easy. Him being a bit wary before saying yes to marry lian is given he has his whole life ahead its not just easy to say yes to marry but knowing how his whole life lian has been there for him and he has loved him with his whole heart, he is so stern on the marriage. Some comments being on his singing career, Being an idol is not easy you dont get to live your life the way you want so its only given he was worried about it at first, as much as he loves lian he doesnt want to give up on music. Love isnt the only thing that is important in one's life, he did engineering but leaving that he decided to pursue music and it just shows how much he loves it, Kirin is is alter self, both of him as kuea and kirin is precious to him so him choosing both just shows how even with love one should never lose their individuality. Its not easy to be someone like that and kuea even in his young age achieves it. So comments about kuea being childlike is so strange, if you arent in the same position you'll never get what it feels like to be there.
Now coming on to their honeymoon, yes honeymoon and not just a nc scene. Back in cp ep8 they both showed their desire for each other and so how much fast paced and engaging it was, it was their first time and they felt the hurry. But now this isnt the case now. After marrying they know they are each other's from now on. There's no need to be in a hurry. They showed their gentleness, softness and expressed their love to each other. It is not about having sex now, it is about showing how they are gonna be there for each other in everything. Lian is a lot older than kuea he has a lot of responsibilities and is always supposed to be upright but him surrendering to kuea and kuea only by kneeling and showing his vunerabilities to him knowing that now he has someone beside who is gonna love him and take care of him unconditionally. There are hundreds of hardcore nc scenes out there but nothing can compare to what they showed and felt for each other. This is how we people from the community are looking for the representation for. Their love is so beautiful. To think they couldnt stop crying just shows how much they have waited for this moment and want to savour every single moment of each other together.
Yes, Cutie Pie is not your perfect story but is there any story that is. We makes mistakes, learn from it, try out different thing, look for love, go through trials. it is what is realistic. Cutie Pie will forever remain in my heart. The amount of comfort have gotten from is indescribable. Thanks to it I got to know Zeenunew as well. I have never believed in love but it is them that makes me want to believe in it. I just want to tell anyone who is in doubt about watching it, Do give it a try. It is only you who can decide if its worth it or not but without trying you'll never get to know it!

Finally married.
Totally story was awesome. Lian and Kuea got married. Yi asked Diao that can we get married? and told him to think about what he told. Cute interactions between Syn and Nuer was little bit funny but good.Starting of the episode Lian proposed Kuea to get married in graduation meet and he said yes to Lian. After that Kuea got offer as a singer from Korean music( i didn't mention the name) company. Kuea wanted to be a singer and also wanted to get married with Lian. And he also discussed with Lian(in this scene, i love how they respect eachother feelings and understandings). On the wedding day, they faced so many obstacles to get married. if you want to know, you have to watch the series.
Lian and Yi conversations was good. Jealousy Lian, naughtiness of Diao, Syn and Nuer scenes are awesome.

honestly can't stand Cutie Pie anymore
It was four episodes of nothing. Ok, I'm not gonna say nothing because I like Yim and Tutor's roles. And Nunew singing but that's it. The first episode KINDA got me thinking "Hmm, this is better. Lian is more supportive, less toxic." but then the other episodes were so empty and boring. I think Kuea didn't even want to get married in the first place, since he turned him down a few times already. It was so stupid how Nu Kuea just decided to save his body for honeymoon LMAO who wrote this? I can't stand this couple anymore. It took me a while to finally clear my mind about these four special episodes, but I realized that it is now or never. Many people thought these episodes were just a nice but unnecessary ending, which can be true depending on what you were looking for, but I don’t think they were completely useless. It was in my opinion a nice way to see how things evolved between Lian and Kuea, because even though at a first glance many thought that in the year we haven’t seen them nothing has changed, but it is not like this. Watching this story told in such a light and funny, it is easy to forget that their situation was incredibly fucked up and the first season was an incredible journey for them to realize that. This “second season” is what happens when you realize that your situation was fucked up and you are doing your best to change it and make it better. Changes doesn’t happen overnight! They are still going to fuck things up from time to time and slip back in past behavior, but with the newly acquired knowledge they can recognize it and take a step beck to chang things. Kuea has spent his entire life hiding things so it is normal for it to be his default course of action, but it took him only an episode to have this thought process and talk to Lian about his future. Lian too still think he has to be perfect to deserve what he has with Kuea, but this is not what Kuea want and to some extent this is not what Lian want as well. They obviously love each other very much, but love can’t solve things. It can be a motivation to take action and find a way to solve the things, but it is not enough to change things on its own. Also I think that other relationships as well changed and matured. Like Nuer and Kuea becoming besties! We see very little of Diao and Yi, but I’m sure that was because they are going to get their own series soon. I think it was overall a nice and interesting ending for this story, an hopeful one too! Cute sequel to Cutie Pie, mostly enjoyable fluff because why not ^^
This special drama composed of 4 episodes of about 45 minutes is an enjoyable sequel to Cutie Pie. This sequel is clearly in line with its parent series, with the show focusing on the topic of the marriage of its main pairing (Kuea x Lian) as well as shedding some lights on the relationship of the secondary couples (Khondiao x Yi and Nuer x Syn).I appreciated the fact that the 4 episodes put together provide a satisfactory marriage narrative arc and a proper conclusion to the love story of Kuea and his Hia Lian. I enjoyed a lot the overall cuteness of the cast with the three couple pairings having all their little quirks and silliness as well as romantic and sexy times.
Is it the most deep, meaningful and intelligent script ever written ? For sure, no. Is there still some aspects of the various relationships that are unhealthy ? Yep...but there is improvement. Is it a bit heavy on the slapstick with some eyes-raising narrative choices ? Yes again... But is it entertaining and enjoyable with some hot moments ? Totally !
It is fluffy, it has little angst and the stakes are kind of low because you know that it is going to end well. The comedy aspect was a bit over the top with the acting and everything: but it is quite comparable to the previous series. There are no huge improvement on the acting, it is overall suitable with some miss in the most emotional moments as well as some stiffness. The chemistry and the kissing scenes are very good though.
Regarding the production value, nothing outstanding to be noted. I love Nunew's singing and I like therefore a lot the OST and the scenes which showcased his talents.
I would recommend this to people that enjoyed Cutie Pie, do not expect a lot suspense or intensity, but enjoy the fluff and the fanservice.

Less problematic and more adorable
After the success of the first Cutie Pie, I worried that a second season would be more of the same (misunderstandings and imbalance of power in their relationship) but Kuea and Lian were adorable and equal in this short 4 episode season. They handle difficulties as a couple and make decisions together. They worry for and rely on each other and they talk to each other. It was such a huge step up from the last season in terms of relationship credibility that I was astonished. It didn’t go outside the bounds of just preparing for their wedding and Kuea’s job choice, but it really was a huge step up from where we left their relationship last time. The couple was still absolutely adorable and with the change in their relationship to a point of what appears to be equality and respect, I would say this is one of the best 4 BL episodes I have seen.Was this review helpful to you?
We got ZeeNuNew the cutest couple in the world, and the chemistry between Zee & NuNew is soooo good! For this to be NuNew's First ever BL am beyond shocked of how good he is at portraying the emotions of his character. And to have Zee to do all of this whit must be the best feeling ever! And me like everyone else who have watched Cutie Pie became a ZonZon fan. and might or might not be watching tooo many compilation's a day!
But let's just pretend that this couple dont just make us depreesed single people feel soo lonly and broke at the same time And if you have not watched heard of Cutie Pie 1&2 or Zee and NuNew idk where tf you have been or on what new undiscovered planet🌏 But you need to watch it if you haven't done so yet.
And yee i might have just been hyping this one up cuss i love it! So just watch it and make your own conclusion. And if you dont like it well to bad sunds like a you problem!

A fan serviced season.
I love how protective Kuea’s friends are of him and his and Lian’s relationship. First it was Syn in the first season now It’s Nuer. I’m enjoying seeing more of Syn and Nuer and Kondiao and Yi. I also love the way the first episode was structured.This was a complete fan serve second season and I love that. The 4 episodes had enough drama to keep it interesting without overdoing it and making it seem unnecessary. I’ve grown to really love Kuea and Lian’s relationship.
The acting was good, I really enjoyed it and Foei continued to make me laugh. I could not stop smiling during episode 4.

Even tho i see alot of negative reactions to this special, i did like it. Do i think they did drag it out too much? Maybe a little bit, could've done in shorter then 4 eps, but as it is not just focusing on Lian / Nu kuea, also on Yi / Niao and Nuer / Syn i don't think it's that bad, it is more then just the wedding. I think except for Nuer / Syn story it doesn't really give us more in the plot, tho i liked seeing the plot twist. Also was nice to see the future after marriage a little bit. S2 IS AS GOOD AS SEASON 1
I loved this. It's one of those shows where season 2 doesn't disappoint. Zee -New's chemistry is one of the best out there. The main focus was on their wedding and career. What I loved was how gentle Zee was with New. I mean, he's really one of the dream husband's everyone would wish for. Even on their wedding night, the tenderness of their NC scene made my heart melt. The ending had me crying happy tears. I mean, it's not something extraordinary...but their acting and chemistry is so heartwarming that it can't be helped.Was this review helpful to you?
