Provoke

Their synopses are very similar:
- female lead marries the father and becomes a stepmother to the male lead
- female lead is trying to take revenge for her family
- the leads both know each other from the past

- time periods are roughly similar

When I saw the preview of Circle of Love, I automatically thought of Provoke. They are in the same time period and are both short series with hot male leads.

Plot sounds nearly identical—girl he loves married his father, revenge agenda, Republican era. Sizzling chemistry between the leads. Short-length drama directed by Zeng Qing Jie who also directed “Pursuit of Jade,” “Blossom,” “A Family Stranger,” “Butterflied Lover,” and “The Killer Is Also Romantic.”

both are set in the chinese republican era (gorgeous colours and sets :)) and both have amazing chemistry between the leads

The actress is the same in both dramas. In both stories the FL infiltrates a mansion in order to get revenge after the death of her family. In both dramas, FL and ML have used to know each other and have a crush, and FL fails to recognize ML for a long time.
