Hard to watch, emotional

This was a bit hard to watch. My Dad also subscribed to the "to save face, I will assume my kids are always wrong" way of parenting. He rarely listened to us and was quick to punish us. This created such a distance between him and his kids. And he also left some of us with relatives for portions of our lives. I applaud ChengHuan and ChengZao for continuing to try and give their mother the benefit of the doubt. But they also are standing up for themselves more and giving themselves time to calm down before they enter the fray. Liu Wan Yu had been warned by ZhiMing NOT to visit during work hours and she did it the following day to bring ChengHuan lunch. She really has no capacity to understand boundaries and to determine work vs personal space. It undermines ChengHuan's leadership which hasn't been fully established yet. Even my 5yo could understand this boundary when I had a home office.
