so, if i am getting this right.... the reason Phu ghosted Nan is cause of the kiss?!? he didn't know how he would react the day after, so Pun chose to run(?) instead of facing Nan the morning after? or cause he "got" that Nan didn't remember, he felt hurt & chose to leave, interpreting it as Nan never being able tp see him in 'that' way?!? what???? either way still angry at this character - how many times did Nan question him about the pas?!? the ghosting, what he do in Melbourne or when he came back etc.... & Pun just goes quite (like when Joe was the one to clue Nan in that Phun had come back cause he wanted to buy the coffee shop they frequent as collage students & Phu's catty remark was "news gets around" like b*tch - WHY the f*ck he move into a room in front of Nan?!??? knowing full well they would bump into each other eventually?!?? like WTF is his damage. ******************************************************************************************************************************
didn't he tell his grandmother he as "ready", he might have talked about the coffee business, but i am 110% sure he was talking about finally being ready to face Nan. so now he is "standing" in front of Nan - why keep quite? what he waiting for now???? ugh - frustrating character!! ********************************************************************************************************* the fact Nan is such an easy-going, sweet, considerate, understanding character makes me dislike Pun all the more. Nan deserves better & idk if Party into Nan or they just best-buds, but he a better choice IMO. ***************************************

side note: Joe is such a character, i laughed so hard in the 1st ep cause of him, he's goofy - so wish there was more of him in each ep.

Romansa Indah dengan bumbu komedi sederhana.

Episode dua ini menurutku episode yang membuat emosi saya terombang-ambing, dimulai dari pertemuan Phu dan Nan yang sangat berkesan dan dramatis sekali, serta kisah komedi Nan dan Phu ketika di dalam apartemen. Scene lain seperti ketika Phu bernyanyi, lalu ketika Phu dan Nan menjalani ospek dan scene lainnya, menurutku ... semuanya adalah yang terbaik, saya memberikan nilai 10/10 untuk setiap scene di episode ini. Episode dua ini tidak mengandung beberapa pallete visual warna matte yang indah seperti pada episode satu, menurut saya warna yang ditampilkan di episode ini dominan warna gelap, malam hari, dan sorot lampu warm light, serta beberapa warna cerah seperti putih dan warna sejuk lainnya (scene ospek Phu dan Nan), walaupun begitu hal ini tidak terlalu berpengaruh menurut saya, bahkan saya merasa ini pilihan yang tepat karena menurutku episode dua ini merupakan episode abstraksi yang sesungguhnya yang menggambarkan dan menjelaskan judul series ini yang sesungguhnya yaitu makna dari "The Promise" itu sendiri. Saya sangat tidak sabar menantikan episode 3 minggu depan. Terima kasih untuk series ini, saya sangat bahagia menontonnya, terlebih karena hari ini adalah hari ulang tahunku, ini seperti kado terindah untuk ruang pengalaman imajinasi saya. update on: 14 Maret 2023 Jam 11 malam.
