Our Skyy 2 (2023)

Boring...

A ideia do Nosso Céu 1 e 2 é muito boa porque todo mundo gostaria de ver mais um pouquinho daquele casal de protagonistas de uma série que adorou.
Onde está o erro na série? A falta de roteiro para as continuações. Eram para produzir apenas 2 episódios, não pode ser tão difcíl criar qualquer uma dinâmica extra. Mas, os roteiristas resolveram investir em histórias sem sentido de troca de corpos e viagens no tempo na maioria dos dramas. Tirando o Conto de Mil estrelas e Um chefe e um Bebê, todos os outros ganharam sequências sem sentido.

Bad Buddy foi o pior de todos porque traz uma sequência que na verdade se passa no meio da história anterior. Eu percebi a ideia dos produtores que foi de juntar numa única sequência de 4 episódios os 2 casais mais queridos da GMM : Pran/Pat e Phupha/Tian.

Bad Buddy já foi uma série que apesar do sucesso (porque é realmente muito boa) teve um final que deixou a desejar uma vez que eles terminam juntos sem estar propriamente juntos. A sequência deveria ter tido a chance de mostrar que eles conseguiram passar por cima dos problemas das famílias e realmente ficarem juntos, mas ao invés disso temos uma volta no tempo onde eles estão novamente ainda na faculdade preocupados em fazer uma peça de teatro. Cabe ainda mencionar o fato de que quando Nosso Céu 2 foi filmado, o Ohm estava bem diferente de quando filmou Bad Buddy (bem mais magro e com o cabelo comprido), o que não se encaixa num retorno dentro do tempo proposto.

Outra sequência que deixou a desejar foi o de "Não me abandone jamais". Além da viagem no tempo, temos o Nuengdiao que volta dos EUA depois de 4 anos fora e simplesmente resolve dizer ao Palm que vai ficar mais 2 anos fora para fazer o mestrado antes de assumir a presidência da empresa. Mestrado em que? Já era confuso o fato dele decidir assumir os negócios da família, mas ir para os EUA cursar música.

Enfim, a ideia foi muito boa, mas mal desenvolvida.
A sequência do Conto de mil estrelas ficou impecável.

some hits, mostly misses

if I had to pick, the ones worth watching, to me the episodes are from Star In My Mind, A Boss and a Babe, and Vice Versa. they give what I wanted from their series and then more. there was growth, some development to the characters, their stories, and, dare i say it, some actual entertainment.

The Eclipse episodes were half-assed at best in terms of the writing and it upset me a lot they were given some weak story filler that, being brutally honest, felt like a waste of both first and khaotung's time and efforts. i also wanted more from NLMG. their episodes were good, though the beginning just felt like a car ad (get that coin, boys), but it just made me wish for pondphuwin to get another series. i missed all of these characters a lot. the MSP episodes were just okay, it was basically a speedrun of the show with a new song + merch drop. didn't hate it, just was boring.

When it came to the ATOTS episodes, which were the ones i was really looking forward to, ignoring BBTS characters made it so much better. I personally found no charm to both stories getting put together like this, so I didn’t really care for the BBTS story at all. it felt like a waste of time having their episodes if they were just going to be flat as they were, time that i think we could've spent giving earthmix the flowers they deserve for acting in one of the best series gmmtv ever made. a positive is that i did like seeing drake and jimmy give us their ghost ship one last hurrah, but that was all for me.

either way, there’s not much in terms of being groundbreaking here if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s all a mess to some degree and a lot of wasted potential for some of the better series from this company. i do have to say that VV and ATOTS were the only ones that genuinely made me tear up. which leads into me harping onto how i hope that we get to see more of earthmix, they've truly become my favorite pairing within the general bl world.
