Good series
I really liked this series. I'm still uncertain about a few things though. I must say f*** that ending. They didn't have to do me that way. 😒🥹 I'm hoping we get a season 2.Was this review helpful to you?
So Many Unresolved Storylines...
No fault to the amazing cast (including so many amazing guest stars!), the storytelling/pacing/continuity of this show was not great. So many one-off plot points that were never resolved (including who the main characters really are!) make watching this series difficult to watch at best. The first half of the series ("haunted-object-of-the-week") was far better than the second half ("doomsday-cult-of-God-maybe"). Worth a watch, but don't get your hopes up for any plot resolutions - it seems like they were setting this up for a Season 2 to explain Season 1.Was this review helpful to you?
An Enigmatic Supernatural Ride with Untapped Potential
"An unexplained bunch of intriguing characters." That's what I thought while delving into this supernatural series that promised a refreshing change from the typical romantic dramas. While it indeed delivered on its supernatural premise, it fell short of its full potential due to a convoluted plot and lack of character development. The series centers around Dome, a barista who stumbles upon a mysterious job offer from Khatha, a mysterious museum owner. Reluctantly accepting the position at a museum housing cursed objects, Dome unwittingly releases one of these malevolent artifacts, setting off a chain reaction that puts the world in peril. As Dome and Khatha embark on a dangerous journey to recapture the cursed objects, they soon discover hidden truths about themselves, including Khatha's immortality and Dome's mysterious origins.
The fast-paced narrative keeps the audience on their toes as each episode delves into the tale of a different cursed object and its devastating impact on humanity. The urgency and riskiness of the adventure make for an engaging watch. However, as the series progresses, it becomes increasingly complex and confusing, especially with the introduction of three versions of Dome from different worlds. Sadly, little to no explanation is provided for their existence, leaving viewers with more questions than answers.
Another downside is the plethora of characters introduced, with some acting as antagonists without clear motivations. The lack of character background and development leaves them as enigmatic as the supernatural elements in the plot. The final episode's attempt to shed light on these mysteries falls short, providing only vague explanations that leave us wanting more clarity.
Despite the flaws, the series boasts exceptional talent, with notable guest roles like Bright delivering impressive performances. Nanon's portrayal of multiple characters adds depth to the series, especially in the final episode. Nevertheless, the lack of character exploration leaves the main cast's potential largely untapped.
In conclusion, the series takes viewers on an enigmatic supernatural ride with glimpses of brilliance, but it struggles to reach its full potential due to a crowded plot and underdeveloped characters. While the CGI adds to the experience, a few more episodes with focused storytelling could have elevated this series into a wonderful watch. For fans of the supernatural genre, it still offers moments of intrigue and entertainment.

DON'T WATCH THIS IF YOU'RE ALONE AT NIGHT
This series got me screaming!!!I did not expect it to scare me. It's quite intruiging.
The storyline is not predictable and though the premise has been established on the onset, the plot will still unravel in the most unexpected twist.
In terms of acting I always have a high expectation with Gun and I know he delivers. This is also my first time watching Tor and he played his character really well.
If you are a fan of GMMTV artists, this series is quite star-studded and every week you can expect a special guest.

Messy… but they made it work.
First of all, it’s a bit messy… but still insanely good. It feels like they threw together a mix of everything supernatural and—ta-da!—somehow, it works. The story might lack cohesion at times, but it’s so catchy that it redeems itself. Now, let’s talk about the acting. OH. MY. GOD. It’s top-tier, with some of the best talent in Thailand (except for Foei… what a trash). Gun and Tor were absolutely breathtaking, and Namtan and Nanon were perfect too. The performances are so powerful they elevate the entire production.
Overall, I’m still in awe. Can’t believe GMM pulled this off—it’s that good!

Fascinating in its individual parts, but frustrating to piece together as a whole
What starts off as somewhat conventional horror becomes a mixed-genre story that gets increasingly far-fetched. I can't decide whether to give credit to the creators of this series for daring to try something like that or to lambaste them for going more than a little too far in merging paranormal elements with parallel-universe concepts. What I did enjoy a lot was the bit of BL in the story. I'm not just talking about the ambiguous relationship between the main characters, which may be interpreted as "bromance" of sorts but increasingly becomes like one of those censored BLs from China (where you kind of know that the characters are in love even though it's not said). There is really a BL couple fairly late in the series (Tum and Phone), and I'm glad that despite the loose threads and plot holes in the story, there is some effort to give closure to their story.
Some of the individual subplots are actually quite decent. Sometimes, the series even manages to inject palpable pathos into the characters, such as in the subplot involving Ton (played by Nanon). However, perhaps the writers should have kept the plot simple. When it tries to merge sci-fi, paranormal, mystery and horror, it turns out confusing rather than intriguing. At times, one feels like yelling at the scriptwriters: "Just tell us who these characters are already!" Who the hell are the different characters played by Gun Atthaphan: Dome, Chan, The One? And then we have characters dying and coming back to life ... because of some dark forces at work? ... because of "faith"??? (what faith could they have if they are dead?)
Interestingly, the series gets into all sorts of messy entanglements without being unwatchable. We can kind of follow that A, B, C, D and E and happening even though we can't really see A, B, C, D and E forming a coherent whole and even though we might find ourselves wonder how A, B, C, D and E can even be happening. The cliffhanger after the closing credits in Episode 10 also leaves one with the impression that there isn't a serious attempt to tell a coherent story. What we have is a weird pastiche of narrative devices that serve to bait viewers. This has sustained the series for 10 episodes, but is it sustainable for another season?

Main plot made no sense. Actors' performances were excellent.
This drama was much more "bromance" than I expected with a similar vibe to the Chinese drama "Guardian".Unfortunately, the main plot made no sense. Therefore, although the actors' performances were excellent, I did not fully enjoy them. There were even a few scenes where it was hard to understand why they were crying. It was almost traumatic for me that I could not sympathize with their beautiful tears.
Compared to the main plot, the subplots, each of which was a complete story, were relatively coherent and understandable. However, they were rather mediocre and lacked depth.
The cast was gorgeous, and everyone, including the guest actors, showed superb acting ability. The script was too confusing in some areas, it still worked because of their skill and passion. I was really impressed with Tor and Gun, who played the main characters, for their consistent performance of messy storyline. Among the sub-characters, Nanon's emotional expression was outstanding and worth watching, while Namtan and Foei also did a great job. Also amazing were the scenes in which two actors (Gun and Nanon) shared one character. It was so exciting and this alone made me glad seeing this drama.
The music was less impressive. I guess they didn't have time or budget to work out the details. I was also bothered by the cheap-looking accessories. Especially the cane was awful. I couldn't help but feel sorry for Tor, who had to carry it almost every time he came in. The costumes were good on the other hand, but did not seem to fit the Thai climate.

The horror aspect is not that scary, but is bloody.
I Love this series. Love the mystery and the chemistry between the ml. Each episode is a different storyline. Can't wait to know the secret of Khata and Dome! I will definitely rewatch it again! Each episode will have a different Gmmtv actor. I'm kinda surprised to see Dome accept the situation without questioning it. The main question is: what is the relationship between Dome and Khata. Are they brothers or not? I'm kinda leaning towards a bromance. Brothers don't stare like that and have pictures of the other one sleeping😅Was this review helpful to you?
I love this series
Midnight Museum is on my top list, even though it is not finished. I really like the casting and characters. Actors potrayed their roles really great, for an example Bright character Moth gave me the vibes he was supposed to give. Also Pat chayanit played her role very well. The storyline is elite. It is like mystery solving, supernatural storyline. I only watched 4 episodes so far and I am exited for the next ones. Maybe the only think that is not good for many people is the scenes with blood, I personally like them, because it brings me to the plot, but people have different opinions. Lots of people did not expect this type of series from GMM and I am one of them. I really recommend this series, 10/10 must watch .Was this review helpful to you?
A mess
I enjoyed the first 4 episodes but the 5th was bizarre. That's when I realised, this show has disjoined stories and many times those plots are just left without explanations of what is going on.I would like to say I'm enjoying the acting but let's be fair, what exactly do the main male leads have to do? The museum owner just looked worried and Dome looked like a deer in highlights or spaced out. The only exception being 1 episode where they were more free to emote. I would say the secondary characters had more range and possibilities because all the action involved them. Again, this is on the writers.
Even though at the end, they explained some of the main mysteries like why Khatha hired Dome and the source of his abilities, it doesn't explain Dome's origin. I can't tell if the story is meant to end here or they are suggesting a continuation. Then again, I won't watch part 2.
There is a real issue with the writing and directing of the show. I honestly don't know how so many gave this show anything above a 7 with such massive problems. This show is also not interesting enough for me to try to rewatch it in order to understand what I missed.

A Twist
at First, the the series is quiet boring but in a later part once you focus on it, you will understand why.characters of each episode is amazing, they deliver their character and the story well enough. I love the 3 episodes The Thieves (boys), well they give me goosebumps plus laughter at the same time but i wish the animation or make ups is more realistic since the actions is a clap clap.
next 4th episode Bright, Pat, And Joss; the role and the story are match to them, they deliver it with an OMG!! especially Bright well we know him as a rebel guy but he nailed it again.
but for the rest, quiet lame and boring since I don't know, i think they need to be more emphasize the story since it too short.
and lastly the episode for Gun and Tor, same with the other episode their story is too short but I love the struggle on finding a way to be together. and the story of Mark and Junior is a plus; you will do everything to make you happy. i wish their story have more appearance but yeah! i love the twist.
Music it match on each event, but I've more on scenes and character.
I wish there will be finale episode or season 2 at least, more focus on Gun side story and both love story.

Started VERY WELL , got WORSE :(
Initially VERY INTERESTING n gripping. All the guys n gals, literally everyone in the cast are known actors and are my favs, love to watch them perform.
ENJOYED watching fav Cast in this Mystery + Fantasy combo :)
Every episode (/week, I watched this series when it was released 1 ep weekly) with a different story n with many fav actors n amazing cameos is like adventures of the main recurring cast .
It's like ENSEMBLE Cast as guest roles entertaining us every week.
Every week was exciting back then, waiting for fav actors as guest roles n thinking who would be the next fav actor.
***
My ep 1's impression:
Cinematography is very good
Production, direction is good
Story looks interesting
But later STRUGGLED TO FINISH this series! :|
The STORY n ACTING is GOOD but EXECUTION has gone WRONG.
The short stories of each episode are written well like connecting dots to the main story.
Past lives stories are also good.
But later, The story is unclear at times, got dragged n boring, making the main theme Messy.
OmG, the Visual Effects, can't tolerate, just NO :|
Haha, back then, how on the Earth did I wait for this series every week to release n how did I even finish those 10 eps, uff those days! 😂
Good that they wrapped up in 10 eps, else..🙏🏻
(I tolerated much more worse Messy stories but this one, hmm, the bad impression stays forever n I feel sorry to be harsh in the review of my fav actors :( )
***
Loved the chemistry of Thanapob n Gun :), though they meant it to be just a bromance here .
They can be a good BL couple in future
(Oops, Off Gun admirers, Sorry :) )
Gun has good chemistry with any partner, for eg: partnered with a gal in Drama "The Three Gentlebros", he n his chemistry with a gal is Amazing there :)
The same goes with Thanapob, partnered with any one, definitely U will love the couple!
Every actor did their role well
The gals are cool .
"Her name is Bam, sir", this dialogue is funny😂
***
Watched this drama for Thanapob n fav cast :)
But felt sad to be left with a BAD IMPRESSION in the END!
Wasted the Potential of all Good Actors! :(
***
I'm sad to give this drama, full of my fav actors, a very bad n low Rating :(
***
Wanted to rewatch once to check if my impressions would get better or No n so the rating would improve
But
Though all the actors are my favourites, I WON'T DARE to rewatch this😂, the bad impression is to that extent !🤯
(BTW, Rewatch value here in my Review is 2 🙊
Also To whoever is reading this REVIEW:
Oops, Sorry, if this is your fav drama :) )
