Stepmother (2025)

Entertaining

I found 'Stepmother' to be an entertaining show, although not the greatest. The multiple villains kept me engaged throughout the story. Mirin was my favorite character, but there were moments when her actions seemed ridiculous and put her in harm's way - a classic drama trope.


One aspect that didn't sit well with me was Stepmother Ploy's decision to bring back Phruek, prioritizing Darinkan's feelings over his. I also wished for a better ending for Mon, despite not agreeing with her actions.


Panali's character was particularly grating, especially in her treatment of Phuwin, which felt traumatic and insensitive.


The ending felt a bit incomplete, but I'll refrain from giving away too many details. Overall, 'Stepmother' is a decent watch, but not without its flaws.

My God

For this lakorn, I’m not gonna lie I skipped a couple minutes from some of the episodes because of the the characters and how the story was. What made me really mad with this was Dao’s character because she was so aggravating and she was so scheming but the stepmother kept forgiving her for everything even when everybody was telling her what Dao was doing and another person that made me mad was Dao’s mother like you know how your mother is and you kept on not just listening to her but just letting her do whatever like you didn’t know her from her filth but overall the rest of the characters were cool but sometimes they didn’t speak to me in the show but sometimes they did but I really liked the story of the show and the dynamics so I can say it was still good but it just had a few little things it needed to tweak but if you like shows like this then I recommend and I understand it might be a little boring at the beginning but just keep watching and you might like it
