Story would be better without FL self-destructing

The story seems promising from the plot and I loved ML and the actor that played him. Even the love triangle was nice to watch. I just couldn’t stand FL. The actress is great but the character is flat and annoying without any reedeming qualities, meanwhile ML seems more a rounded character. Their problems as a couple are realistic, however the FL issues seemed unresolved and there wasn’t any good communication between them. Overrall I liked the visuals and music and romantic trope with all its clichés but wouldn’t watch again due to FL.

Disappointing compared to the prequel

Soundtrack #1 had a beautiful couple growing from friends to lovers. It felt sweet and delicate.

Soundtrack #2 on the other side has a dislikable emotionally immature ML, still very much in love with the FL but also wanting revenge for the breakup pain he suffered, the poor boy. But his love is of course stronger than his hate, for now at least. I don't want to witness what happens once there is some discord between them in the future.

There is also a weak ass love triangle, with the second love interest baking out without even putting up a fight. I really wish she would have ended up with him, instead of the immature ex.

A Befitting Sequel to 2022's Sleeper Hit

Disney+ is back with the sequel to its 2022 hit “Soundtrack”. Starring Park Hyung Sik and Han So Hee in a “Friends to Lovers” romance, the show was well-received because of its heartfelt story and the natural chemistry between the two stars. “Unrequited Love” seems to be the recurrent theme in this series. Banking on this premise, “Soundtrack #2” stars Geum Sae Rok, Steve Noh and DEMIAN in a surreptitious love triangle that is equal parts exciting and intricate. With Director Kim Hee Won’s return, you can expect great things and honestly, I wasn’t disappointed with the pilot episodes. Despite the short format, the first two episodes weave a somber tale encompassing the main lead’s past affairs and their present trajectory. It is as slow burn as it can be and yet, the characters are so quirky; you can’t help but fall in love instantly.

Hot take: It's better than season 1

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Park HyungSik and Han SoHee's duo, but I PERSONALLY am not a big fan of friends to lovers....Probably that's why I loved the story of this Soundtrack more.
I loved the "PASSION" our main leads had for each other....
I saw many people criticizing the female lead, but as a person who unfortunately suffers from inferiority complex, I TOTALLY understand her being cautious about taking SuHo's help.
So, I can say I loved how, instead of being picture perfect, our leads had flaws, and they did overcome it....

Ending was a bit rushed but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS SOUNDTRACK...♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

What is point of Love triangle

They are showing a love triangle in which we already know that 2nd lead has no chance
He isn't even mentioned as lead character
He is supporting cast so we know he has no chance of getting together with FL so its already decided love triangle which make it boring
If this drama was about love triangle then they shouldn't show it as this much biased on one side

I hope to see a love triangle in which we get confused about who will be choosen but this is just too much one sided
Fake love triangle.... FRAUD STORY

Short, but full of heart

I was so excited to see another Soundtrack show, had loved #1, so was intrigued. As a pianist myself I can relate to so many aspects of her character. Both the main leads really portrayed the depth of emotions from the past and present scenes. I found myself deeply engaged in their story and was rooting for them. The moment of connection is filled with all the right feels and the chemistry between them is perfection.

I was glad thos didn’t end right there and took us on a journey through the challenges of second chance love, which of course has to be just a glimpse due to the length of the series.

Soundtrack is a short series, so everything has to be right on pointe or this thing just wouldn’t work.

Beautiful ending to a short mini drama full of heart.

A Soft, Warm Feel-Good Drama

I watched Soundtrack #1 and this was honestly such a lovely, easy series to watch. It’s one of those dramas that you watch when you just want something warm, emotional, and comforting.

The main actors, Park Hyung-sik and Han So-hee, have really nice chemistry together. Their dynamic feels very natural and comfortable, which fits the story perfectly because it’s about friendship, love, and feelings that slowly grow. Nothing feels forced or overly dramatic.

I always enjoy watching Park Hyung-sik in dramas, and here again he was very good. He plays these quiet, loyal, caring characters very well, and this role really suits him. He brings a calm and warm feeling to the series.
What I liked most about this drama is that it feels very realistic and recognizable. The conversations, the awkward moments, the small emotional scenes — it all feels very real and relatable. It’s not a big dramatic story, but a small, personal one.

It’s also just a perfect series to watch when you want a feel-good moment. I actually watched it on the couch with a blanket and a cup of tea and finished it in one go. It’s short, easy to watch, and just very cozy and comforting.

The music is also very beautiful and of course very important in this series. The songs fit perfectly with the story and really help create the emotional atmosphere. The music and the story really work together very nicely.

I honestly think the overall review score for this drama could have been higher, because it’s a very well-made, soft, emotional series that does exactly what it’s supposed to do: make you feel warm and a little emotional.
It’s a sweet, calm, romantic drama that is perfect to watch in between heavier series. Just relaxing, emotional, and very enjoyable.

Less is More

. One of the reasons my preferences shifted from #KDrama to #JDrama was the saggy bloat of the traditional 16+ #KDrama format. Seeing 12 ep #KDramas becoming mainstream and many being made in the 4-8 range is very encouraging and this Drama is part of the trend There were no significant flaws and the Drama was an excellent example of short form storytelling. Also, impressed that in the compact timeframe, the 'second chance' trope was well explored with analysis of why it didn't work the first time. Highly recommended

SHOULD HAVE LET HER GO TO SANTIAGO ALONE

The start of the drama raised my expectations high but the last few minutes were beyond me. Apart from that it was overall a good one. The first impulse on seeing the show is to compare it with the soundtrack 1 but that would not do justice to this one. That soundtrack had a different universe this one has a different one. Maybe it was the fear of this comparison only that the writers and the directors tried to give this one a haphazard happy ending.

The beginning really served the ex-lovers troupe where the two leads meet again after a long time with their changed situations. Everything was amazing honestly the characters, the emotions, the setup everything. Especially the chemistry between the leads goodness I wonder what a good execution could have brought out of the gem of this chemistry.
The plot development tried to show how just getting back together is not the endgame for the leads and even if they do get together the breaking apart can happen again if there is no clarity on the character's part about what they did and why they did what they did and what do they want. However, they did not answer any of it they did not even show the female lead side of the story of why they broke up in the past properly.

Also, there was no need to put that poor second male lead i mean the lead characters already had enough of their problems to work on and I don't think either of them cared about poor K. (I didn't even feel bad for him. He was very extra.)

The last fifteen minutes did not make a single sense to me, everything was so rushed I wondered if I skipped something important.
it's not important to give a happy ending, where the leads always end up together to make a good drama.
Personally, I would have felt much better if she had gone to Santiago all alone and discovered herself even if that meant them not ending up together. Her just accepting the male leads company on her Santiago trip defeats the whole point of going there since she wanted to learn about herself and love things just the way they are without letting her inferiority come in between. It was so very unsettling.
Like what's the point of sending her on a trip, closing the shop and breaking up again if that's how they were going to end it, she could have just done that in Korea only why spend so much money. A trip like that will not help her.

I think I took this a little personally but was kinda self-destructive and contradictory.

Antigamente, ela o tratava mal e o menosprezava excessivamente.
