The Casting is a Chefs Kiss

In Love Upon a Time Episode 3, the casting truly starts to shine as each actor settles comfortably into their role—Net Siraphop delivers a strong yet subtle performance with controlled expressions and a quiet authority that naturally draws attention, while JJ adds emotional warmth through soft, natural acting that enhances their growing chemistry; Latte steps up with more confident dialogue delivery and a balanced, slightly playful presence, and Kim remains consistent and composed, supporting scenes without overpowering them, while even the actors portraying the servants contribute effectively with realistic body language and tone, adding depth and authenticity to the setting—overall, the episode reflects well-matched casting, improving performances, and a steady, believable build in character dynamics.

Khun is very selfish, given how Phop is treating…

Khun is very selfish, given how Phop is treating him with kid gloves & offering him room & board - even his servant's. Khun instead of being grateful & trying to solve his problem without rocking the boat, keeps acting like a spoilt brat cause Phop is being considerate of his sick friend. & what angers me more is his manipulation of Chuai, who has no power & has to bow & obey his every word, even if they will end up getting his punished which in that time period mean getting his ass beat. yeah Khun doesn't give two shts cause Khun is all about Khun. hard to like this character. **********************************************but in-spite everything i've written above i enjoyed this ep, yeah Khun was his usual goofy self but toned down & actually funny. & the plot was more interesting as there was more info & it wasn't just Khun acting like a lunatic - which isn't that funny & got old fast.

Their best EP thus far.

Man, I enjoyed this episode so much! It's a balance of comedy and drama. I love how the viewers are now getting to know who Klao is and why Nakhun is there. Also, I love how we get to see how down bad Phop is when it comes to Klao. We also get to see a glimpse of Phop's playful side (the river scene) as in the novel, he loves teasing Klao. The acting, as usual, is good. I love the scene in the temple where Phop and Klao had an argument; their acting is so good. Net shows how protective Phop is of Klao and JJ shows how frustrated Nakhun is. My heart is so happy seeing NetJJ taking good care of my PhopKlao/Nakhun. 🥹I'll rate this ep 10/10. I can't wait for the next episode!
