Two dramas have two brothers with dark past one of them
the dramas are intriguing involving child abuse
the two drmas have the brothers caring for each other

Both start off with a pretty sad first episode but warm up pretty well with a drama packed full of warmth and life while mixing in some serious bits. Also the romance timeline between the leads follows a similar pattern but switched.

Both drama depicted an abusive parent and both leads met as kids.

In Come and Hug, the ML protected FL. ML went on to become a police officer in order to protect FL from his psychopathic father, while in Castaway Diva, ML indirectly watches out for FL by involving himself in every situation FL is in.

FL in come and hug and FL of castaway diva are talented people, one is an actress while the other is an aspiring singer.

Come and hug me is a rather dark show compared to Castaway Diva (there's murder)

Both have that “older” female character that has lost their spark over the years, and a younger female character making them rediscover it. In both, romance is secondary. Both have meaningful scenes, self-discovery and a touch of silliness.

it's similar in a way that its journey of an underdog that becomes successful after facing a lot of struggles .

the difference is Namib is more on the reality side while castaway diva is more on a fictional side

Both drama talks about a young girl who was to become a singer and work hard to achieve it while staying true to their values/principles. Both girls have someone they admire and want to protect even if it means staying in the shadow.

Castaway Diva and He is Psychometric though have different focuses are great stories. Lee Seung Joon plays the deadbeat father in both series that causes the family to run away and hide their identities. In both stories this father plays a crucial role in the development/thought process of the characters and pushed them to who they are portrayed in each show. If you liked one, I highly recommend watching the other. There is also the element of romance and reunion between the main characters.
