Okay- adjustment… it might be indicated that the 5 Weapon spirit come back because of ML’s power. we do see Xiu as a child again running around and I think it may be the female Weapon spirit. And rewatched the last scene… it does indicate female lead promises to come back- but without reading the novel. I would have assumed it still meant that she would come back in various forms to always be with ML as explained by the elder. But because I read the novel, I know it may mean as a person…
They couldn’t just give us a proper good ending?
Yes- because she broke the heavenly oaths... telling ML who she really is, her feeling for him etc her body dissipated at the end of the drama. The elder of the divine realm in the last 3 minutes had to explain she will still be "alive" bc her primordial spirit still exists- so she can be a bird, a butterfly, a leaf... IDK but I would have rather had her have a body form at the end, and marriage and kids... Then her just being a potential fart in the world. This wasnt a HE for me. I dont want to have to assume she will come back as a person, at some point like we had to do at the end of The Starry Love. 2CP- I kinda didnt care about them that much tbh, but yeah- bc she is old they are not together bc of 2FL wishes. Yup all outright villains bite the dust. No redemption arcs except for Hannv does push FL out of the way so she isnt harmed when Hannv bites the dust. But for me, the real enjoyment of this drama came from the growth of the leads and secondary protagonists (again ho-hum for 2CP).
She broke the heavenly oath, but she was no longer a god by 29! I’m sick of these ambiguous endings. I know this thing was filmed in like 2022 or 2023 whenever but they should learn that people don’t like this crap anymore. Especially when we’ve seen proper endings to dramas. I’m still watching, but did he become a demon for a little bit or was that an illusion?
Surprisingly good. I was so tired of childish XianXia with all the overly dramatic romance...After the first episodes you can note this is a mature drama and the acting is on point from leads to supporting actors. Dialogues are also interesting, and sometimes very funny, and the focus on character development makes all the difference. ML is not a hero, he is resentful and it was hard for me to see his real intentions until the very end!Last, I loved the inclusion of engineering craftsmanship as a goddess power/ability.

I find it so impactful when he says with his resentful heart: "I'm not a good person. I wanted to destroy the world." But he is a hero, yes, because he faced his own monsters to be able to come out into the light, and the heroine saw that in him, she never gave up on him.🎞️😶🌫️😊💘😎
