Woo Hyeol is unable to forgive himself for losing control due to his vampire instincts upon seeing In Hae's blood. As he suffers from the cruel fate that prevents him from being with In Hae, he decides to leave In Hae. The ML is the most humane undead which makes this drama fascinating. His two sidekicks are an added treat. The FL is pretty spikey early on given her trust issues. Still, she's loyal and eventually softens with an invitation to 'bite me', but things aren't that simple. Various villains complicate the ML's quest to become human.
