Enjoyable little demon
I was going back and forth on rating this an 7.5 or 8 but I'm going to stick with the 7.5. I enjoyed the romance of this drama so much. I'm a hopeless romantic so I don't mind the cliche cringy stuff but in my opinion, this drama didn't have any cringy behavior between the leads. I wish this story would focus more on the romance and a little less on the psychotic family craziness. The family drama, the multiple deaths, and the light thriller aspect brought this drama down for me. I also didn't like the female lead decisions, in the beginning, she was shown as this badass CEO but once the heat got hot she gave up her inheritance because she wanted a quiet life.????I don't know why she thought if she gave everything up the threats to her life would stop. I wish I could've seen the demon be more of a demon and make more deals for the benefit of the story but the writers didn't think that far. The writers were extremely lazy toward the end when they had the FL take a bullet for an immortal that would've survived without the serious consequences caused by her actions. However, the writers needed that one last push so all thought went out the window.
The romance and chemistry between the leads are what kept me interested. The ML is also very attractive which also kept my attention lol.

One of my top fantasy rom coms
Both actors served with visuals and the fashion was immaculate. Their chemistry was electrifying. The cinematography and music was everything although the plot was okay, kind of predictable and some tropes are re-used. However, I'm overlooking it because this is what makes a k-drama. Overall I loved the drama and I haven't been this emotionally attached to a k-drama since "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" which was made in 2020. I fell in love with Kim Yoo-Jung and plan to watch more of her dramas, she's really suitable for romance dramas :)Was this review helpful to you?
DO DO HEE DO DO HEE
My expectation was low when i start to watch this drama. turns out it was a really good kdrama!I love the story between both FL and ML. Their backstory is so damn sad and well portrayed. The OSTs is so good that I finally added some of the songs in my spotify playlist.
The only lackluster in this drama is the comedy part. Some of the comedy scene feels like forcing you to laugh and some of it also may gives you a cringe vibe.
However, the romance side is quite good. the combination between FL and ML I can say perfect. The way FL cries does looks like a true tears.
I've heard "IM SOL", "HAE IN". Now, I heard "DO DO HEE!" (*^▽^*)

Very very catchy Fantasy series with intense interactions within the CL.
PLOT: A demon saves FL, adopted daughter of a large company, from an assassination attempt, but the tattoo to activate his powers is transferred to FL's wrist. They must therefore team up to protect the FL (from the toxic and dangerous family +++) and find a way to restore the ML's tattoo. The CL therefore makes a marriage (contract). They will discover how their fates have been intertwined for a long time.PROS:
+ Fantastic CL with Song Kang as ML & Kim Yoo Jung as FL.
+ A magnificent cinematography (the producer has a "Goblin" style).
+ Dynamic production, excellent special effects.
+ The story is relatively coherent, for a fantasy series, with “wisdom” or “philosophy” passages.
+ The OSTs are beautiful.
CONS:
- the product placements are too obvious, like in all recent Kdramas!
- The Great Villain, intelligent, perverted, sadistic,... is excessive. He could be a demon, surviving his fall from a building... Seriously?

Très très accrocheur, avec intenses interactions au sein du CL.
PLOT: Un démon sauve la FL, fille adoptive d'1 gros groupe, d'1 tentative d'assassinat, mais le tatouage pour activer ses pouvoirs est transféré au poignet de la FL. Ils doivent donc s'allier pour protéger la FL (famille toxique et dangereuse +++) et trouver le moyen de restituer le tatouage. Le CL fait donc un mariage (contrat). Ils vont découvrir comment leurs destins sont entremêlés depuis longtemps.
PROS:
+ Fantastic CL with Song Kang as ML & Kim Yoo Jung as FL.
+ A magnificiant cynematography (the producer has a "Goblin" style).
+ Réalis° dynamique, effets spéciaux excellents.
+ La story est relativement cohérente, pour une série fantastique, avec des passages "sagesse" ou "philosophie".
+ Les OST sont belles.
CONS:
- les placements de produits sont trop évidents, comme dans tous les Kdramas récents !
- Le Great Villain smart,pervert, sadique,... est excessif. Il pourrait être un démon, survivant à sa chute d'un building... Sérieux ?

Beautiful
The dorama was perfect, plot twists, pacing, story, Do Do-Hee *clears throat* what? xD But EP 14 made me angry. My thoughts below:DO DO-HEE WAS ALREADY SHAKEN BY EVERYTHING
YES, SHE GOT SCARED BY HIM
And yes, he felt bed for her
But she herself was trying to fix it
She wanted to build the Christmas tree, even if she didn't she feel like it, she made an effort, bc that's what love is
And then he """trying to save her"""
does what she always feared
AND LEAVES HER ALONE

Aside from that which seemed like they were just making things more difficult for no reason u.u
EP. 14 angered me, EP.15 broke me, EP.16 restored me (or it would've completely if-..) What to say about dorama, it triggered me from begging to end, not in a bad way, per say, but I identified with it, even in a particular way, later on, that caught me off-guard o.o

Chemistry saves the world
If you are looking for something oscar worthyThis is not the series for you.
Recycled trope.. Yes!
Its a crime most drama these days are guilty of..
But Man the chemistry of the main leads are off the charts.
Even Bts are worthy of watching.
Yes both very good looking actors and both are likeable too..
But sometimes it doesnt equate to chemistry..
But this two pull it off..

Great chemistry but lost the great story line
It was so good enough in the first half. But kinda boring in the second half.I can't really point out since when it become kinda draggy, but at the end their chemistry is so great till make me still stay for this one.
If you want to feel some pure love story with a fantasy thing, you should watch this one.

very good show. suffersxa little from the lack of continuity, but can easily look past those. they are a beautiful and believable couple. when she finds out what the deal was that her father made, she was happy and smiling and tells him you were even saving me then. But I doubt that would really be the reaction. Consider the fact that her Demon lover confirms the existence of Hell and that the father she loved so much is has been and will always for EVER be consumed by the flames of hell. While he was willing to make that sacrifice for his unborn daughter if she had the opportunity to voice her opinion there is no way she would allow him to do so consider not only the Eternal pain and suffering but there is no reincarnation from hell whereas just dying allows for reincarnation. Everything is very, very pretty. Just another Christmas tale about all-conquering love. Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jin are the best Korean couple and deservedly so.Yes, I copied a lot from different doramas - Goblin(scenes on the road, the disappearance of a demon), Healer and I know, but ..(love-bed), maniac and bandits (from Strong Woman Do Bong Soon), reincarnation is similar to all dorama reincarnations at once, so it's hard to say where the screenwriter spied it, and much more. The story as a whole is a converted Hotel del Luna (an old tale about a lost soul character who is revived by love). The screenwriter has already done this once - the Chinese "Go Princess Go" into "Queen Cheo Rin", very successfully. And here everything turned out perfectly. And some scenes may well become new dorama cliches (turning holy water into a rose or a battle dance).
Everything that the screenwriter did not do was completely covered by the artistry and skill of Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jin.
It is wrong to assume that Song Kang does not look like a demon, according to the Bible, demons are fallen angels, and Song Kang is the most beautiful of all angels ever seen. He plays a boy who has not aged his soul in 200 years, still believing that for the sake of his beloved he can turn the whole world around and overcomplicate God. And he did manage to do it (with the help of an almighty screenwriter, of course, for which I thank him very much).
Don't look for deep meanings, high tragedy, this is a completely different genre, just another sweet fairy tale about love.
It was shot very beautifully, the camerawork was excellent, there were no bad angles at all when shooting Song Kang or Kim Yoo Jin, which, for example, slipped into a very good Matchmaker romcom with Rowan.
Very beautiful ost. I liked it from New Jeans - Our Night is More Beautiful than Your Day, Winter of Aespa - With You and Sam Kim - Say You Love Me.

The Ending Makes no sense
The ending makes no sense god is like oh I like these two, let's revive him bruh if that could be possible why did we go through all of this it makes no sense, you can't just pull out the god wanted card and call that an ending. See I am a sucker for happy ending I love them to the point that 70%-80% of all anime, kdrama, and manwha I have consumed which is porbably over a 1000 had happy endings, but in this case the ending should have been sad, it just didn't logically flow him litreally magicially revivingWas this review helpful to you?

my demon is my first k-drama and im obsessed! i cant stop watching k-drama since then. i watched all song kang’s tv series. but my favorite is still my demon ( except navillera). SOUNDTRACKS are amaziiingg!! main and side roles are so suitable. I think gu-won is song kang’s best actor performance and I can't get over “yes, do do-hee” scene in the serie. OMG so romantic. If you are thinking of watching it, don't wait any longer. After you finish it, listen to the soundtrack on Spotify over and over again.Was this review helpful to you?
