I can’t help but think of Blossom every time I watch Female General. It gives off a similar vibe—watching the female lead fight hard against her destiny, and somehow, you just know things will work out for her.

The male lead is a general too, and both of them absolutely adore the female leads in their own stories.

Strong female leads both are trying to own their own life and destiny. They try not to rely on the men in their lives and end up opening their own businesses. You can't help but fall in love with all the side characters in both series.

in both FL are running multiple business to support their respective families. TLIBH has a mystery to solve while BA is mostly regarding Business and dealing with Extended family. The FL in TLBH is like a tomboy which is fun to see especially how she deals with rude people. In short both are good.

Both are female-driven stories with a historical setting in which the FL rises above difficult circumstances, protecting her family, and finding love along the way with the ML with whom she has a bad first encounter.
