ML is a little mean in the first couple episodes, but NOTHING compared to the ML in Circle of Love.
It's a super entertaining historical romance. Highly recommended!

Another manhandling, steamy-kiss guilty pleasure drama with sizzling chemistry and a smoking hot leading man who totally steals the show. Weak plot, but still pretty fun.

Same era and same actress. The vibe of the first episodes are similar. In both stories, the FML lives with a powerful military officer.

Both are Republican Era mini dramas with a love/hate relationship between the leads, one of whom is enacting revenge against the other for something they wrongfully believe they did.

When I saw the preview of Circle of Love, I automatically thought of Provoke. They are in the same time period and are both short series with hot male leads.

Both are Republican Era dramas in which the FL's family is destroyed by either the ML or his family.

Both are Dark & angsty romance dramas set in the historical republic of China.

High in intensity & passion.

ML are crazily in love with FL.So dark in his jealousy and possessiveness.

ML are powerful warlords.

Both mainleads hate to love each other.

Both ML forcefully keeps FL a captive.

Both dramas have depressing undertone.
