A satisfying season ending!

I had had mixed feelings about the upcoming ending which had to leave room for a second season, but this one felt very satisfying.Without spoiling anything, it hits a very good balance between leaving us satisfied with some sort of closure, so we feel we aren't left hanging, while leaving plenty of plot threads to be picked up again in the next season.It feels fitting that the grand season victory everything should be working towards ends up being the garden's opening, it nicely shows how this has been a red thread all along even though it was in the background for most of the season.
