After being shot and killed Yu Jin, Jiang Si awakens in the past and vows to change the events that not only led to her death but also her family’s. Upon re-awakening, she realizes that Yu Jin has saved her from drowning, which was instigated by her betrothed, Ji Chong Yi. She decides to do her utmost to break her engagement with Ji Chong Yi, while Yu Jin investigates her background.
