One Stars

seriously with that ending. ima be the odd one out but i really want Ramphueng to win, given how moronic Khem is. as is this dude is doing my head in with his passive attitude & if that wasn't enough he lovesssssssssssss to earsdrop, he can't help himself from snooping around. like come on & then we get that kiss/handjob scene at the end. am i supposed to care? well am sure everyone else falling over their own two feet cause of the mains. me not so much, watching Peem & Khem kiss was torturously uncomfortable, it felt like they both were on a different vibe. it's like Peem was building the rhythm & Khem was floundering, but that's what u get when u have to play this pathetic backboneless fragile creature. everything u do needs to be subdued & muted. this not fun to watch - unlike Jet & Chan, they were on the same vibe & that's why it was enjoyable watching them. & even though in this ep both were circling each other cause they had jumped in too fast - they were still fun to watch. **btw the old woman (who i am assuming is dead) is annoying me as i am 99% sure she knows why Ramphueng's soul is holding a grudge against Khem - but for whatever reason she wont say. **********************************************************************& was curious finding out that Jet, Chan even Peem were tied to Khem's fate & that's why they kept reincarnating around her, always intertwined with her life. & yet the only one Ramphueng held a grudge against is Khem (cause she ordered the murder of Ramphueng's baby?!?) will have to wait & see

A Love Written Across Lifetimes

For those who may not know, the iQIYI app works just like Netflix, letting you download and watch offline. I knew episode eight would run for two hours, so I downloaded it beforehand. What a journey it was. One of the longest BL episodes I have ever watched, yet it held me so completely that my two-hour flight felt like a fleeting moment. For the first time in my life, flying was not a bore but a joy, because of this masterpiece of an episode. Some may say it was too long, but it is never about the length. It is about the chemistry, the cinematography, the plot that carries you away. And episode eight delivered all of this with perfection.I believe it was Grandma Si who first opened Peem’s heart. With simple words, “if you have a lover, and if you lose him, you will regret it,” she unlocked something within him, giving him the courage to reveal his true feelings to Khem. From there, communication became their bridge. Khem told Pong with honesty that he felt nothing more than brotherhood. Peem told Prim that his heart already belonged to someone else. Once the air was clear, the two met in the quiet of night. Their confessions came softly, their silences carrying as much weight as their words. It was slow, but it was necessary. We waited eight episodes, and the first kiss was worth every second. A kiss centuries in the making, carrying the echoes of past lives into this one. The music, the lingering glances, the gentle press of lips, it was tender, it was sweet, it was romantic in every sense.Later that night, they rode together on a single bike. Under the stars, Peem worried for his grandmother, and Khem’s embrace told him without words: I am here, I will always be here. And then Peem, in his vulnerability, asked Khem not to call him Master anymore, at least when they were alone. “Call me by my name, Peem,” he said. The joy in Khem’s smile showed another thread binding them closer together. And then came the scene we all had been waiting for. Khem whispered, “I don’t have much time left, but I want to follow my heart so I will not regret it.” Thunder roared, rain poured, but nothing could stop these two lovers.“You mean so much to me, Khem,” Peem confessed, before they kissed again, their hands trembling with longing as raindrops ran down their skin. What followed was not rushed, not forced. Peem understood Khem was not ready to give everything, and so he did not push. Instead, they shared what they could, pleasuring each other with tenderness and respect. This is love in its truest form, communication, care, the willingness to wait. Not everything must be about sex, nor should every first time be defined by it. The intimacy they shared was more than enough, because it was theirs. The scene was breathtakingly beautiful. Their love felt unhurried and real, overflowing with affection. As they ended with a gentle kiss, Peem’s love and respect for Khem shone through brighter than ever. When morning came, Khem woke to find Peem still beside him. The smile on his face was pure joy. He touched him gently, rubbed his nose against his beloved, and the sweetness of that moment lingered. And let us not forget our second couple. Jet and Chan lying in bed simple act of holding hands all night, it melted my heart. I was glad, too, that they were not given another NC scene. Love does not always need to rush into physical passion. Sometimes, the beauty lies in patience, in allowing time to deepen the bond, especially when moving from friends to lovers. This series is nothing short of a masterpiece. It gives us everything, romance, tenderness, longing, respect. I cannot wait to see how the remaining episodes unfold.

Absolute cinema

I don’t usually write reviews, but I think I’ll start now- please be kind, it’s my first one. This episode left me absolutely speechless. First off, even with its nearly two-hour runtime, the pacing never dragged. The story flowed beautifully, and the way it was delivered kept me hooked the entire time.

- KengNamping NC Scene
This has officially become my favorite DMD nc scene ever (and perhaps even one of my all-time favorites). I felt every single emotion. Seeing P’Peem completely naked felt like the ultimate act of vulnerability: as though he were saying, “I am giving myself to you without any mask or veil, both physically and emotionally.” What we witnessed was a man who had been holding himself back for years finally allowing release (again: both literal and symbolic).
The acting was extraordinary. The performances were so convincing that I almost felt like an intruder, a third wheel in their intimacy, yet I couldn’t look away. The framing and composition of each shot mesmerized me; every detail carried weight, every angle intentional.
From Khemjira’s perspective, there was a palpable mix of excitement and apprehension, as this was his first real experience with physical intimacy. His character has longed to be “normal,” but has carried the weight of the curse his entire life, leaving little to no room for romance, even if he longed for it. What this scene captured was two people experiencing different kinds of “firsts,” both stripping themselves bare of everything that shielded them in their own ways.
And the sound design? Brilliant. I deeply appreciated that the sequence was underscored by a delicate, almost ethereal score that set the emotional, reflective tone. At selected moments, the faint, distant sounds of breath (mostly from Peem) were woven in just enough to remind us of the raw, human carnal passion beneath it all. Yet these physical expressions were deliberately subdued, reinforcing that the scene’s true core was emotional intimacy. It was the peak of closeness: two individuals merging into one presence, even without going all the way.

- Direction
I have to praise the director. Every detail, every frame, feels so intentional. The way the story is visually told with the gazes, the pauses, the framing, never fails to amaze me. Every little detail is thought before hand, everything has a reason to be somewhere specific.

- Storylines
I really appreciated finally getting some backstory on Rampueng’s vengeful feelings. I suspect she’s behind Yai Si’s illness, though I’m not entirely sure yet. I love how this central plot remains consistently present, while still balanced against the romantic arcs and nuanced character development.

- Charn and Jet
Their relationship unfolds in such a different way than Peem and Khem’s. They first surrender to passion, acknowledge their feelings but then take a step back, deciding to build something carefully, with all the uncertainty that entails. I love the contrast with PK's relationship building as it makes each story feel unique.

- Phor Kru / Peem’s Arc
I don’t think Peem’s confession and openness came too quickly at all. If anything, it felt like the natural breaking point after years of holding everything in. When he asks Khem to call him just P/Peem it’s clear he’s tired of the constant restraint that comes with being Phor Kru. He just wants to exist as himself for Khem, yes, but also for his own peace. That hit me hard, his yearning to shed the constant control demanded by his role. For once, he can exist freel, not as a 'spiritual-teacher' (wouldn't really know how else to describe it lol) bound by duty, but as himself. This moment of liberation felt essential both for his relationship and his own self-acceptance. (And side note: the haircut this episode? Perfection. I couldn't stop screaming everytime he was on screen- And major points to DMD for finally giving us realistic tattoos!)

- Acting
Namping absolutely floored me. The way he cries is just beautiful, it feels so genuine. And I especially admired how well he played a character who’s bad at lying. That’s harder than it looks, because you have to “act badly” on purpose, while still keeping it believable. He delivered it flawlessly.

Hot damn! 😍😍Peem looking oh so good...

It's about time Peem stop being stupid and went for what we all knew he wanted!! Khem, is one luck duck. ❤️

I think Ramphueng has been slowing doing something to Grandma Si, up untill she was able to possess her, other wise there is no way she could have.... She never be ok, I like Grandma Si.

Chan and Jet are just way to adorable together. 😍

Can't wait to learn more in the next ep... finally get to know more about their past with Ramphueng... Maybe we will get more answer on some of the other past lifes, after all they brought them up, can't hold out on us after that.
