NOSTALGIC.. The Most Underrated BL ( Must Watch☺️)
Its a kind of Series that you will fell in love with the character as you watch more.. (that was my first impression)But immediately after a few minutes from the first episode, i love the story and every character..
Its took awhile for me to finished it, not because im BORED.. but because i kept on rewatching "kilig" scenes, it was so natural and authentic, that you would almost felt as if youre invading other peoples lives.
Some may say its a simple story, but for me.. i get to have the special feeling of being shared something far more valuable..
I get to relived my school fantasy😂❤️🥰
Kudos to all the characters, not only the leads but also the supporting roles..
I was really shocked that i have seen this series and was made aware only by accident. By looking for something similar with love mixed up..
IT WAS REALLY WORTH WATCHING.. repeatedly.
I cant reach you.. will be my most fave series from now on.

To be honest, I was kinda skeptical due to the fact that it was on Netflix but I ended up finishing all 8 episodes in one sitting until 2 pm. I truly adore this show and pray with all my heart that we get another season because there is so much to explore and do with this show. I know its manga adaption, I personally have not read it but I hear its really good. The show itself and the story was really good. It had me silently screaming and yelling. The supporting cast was good as well, I personally LOVED Akane. Although she was not the special someone for Kakeru, she still helped him with his own special person which I find so sweet. The scenery was beautiful. I find it really funny that every time either one of the boys blush or think about the other, there is always this glitter affect that is on the screen and I can't help but laugh because I couldn't take it seriously. On the other hand, the acting had its moments for sure but I cannot say that it was amazing. The scenes where Ohara would pin or hug Kakeru felt a bit weird or unnatural. I didn't feel chemistry all that well, the laughs felt forced at times and so did the smiles. I know its acting but you're, as an actor, supposed to make the viewer believe this is real but this show flopped on that which is a bummer. As well as when they were shocked, it was kind of over dramatic (Example: Kakeru when he passes Ohara saying his type is childhood friends) Going back to the background characters, I really enjoyed how Yui would be getting the hints between Ohara and Kakeru. The show didn't force or full out tell us that Yui had figured it out but they told us by showing little bits where Yui would look at Ohara and I loved that. I love when we as the viewer just pick up on these instead of the show just shoving it down our throats. When Ohara pushed Kakeru on the bed I was GAGGED. My jaw dropped to the floor and he SLID...SLID HIS HAD UP HIS SHIRT AND KISSED HIS NECK WHAT THE HECK. I was so shocked, I loved it. I love how Ohara gets out of his shell because of Ashiya, they're polar opposites in public but when alone they switch personalities. I just adore the show, in no way is it perfect but I have and will rewatch it again and again. The show wasn't angsty or dark, very lighthearted but would touch on some important topics like insecurity in relationships. Especially when Ashiya felt like he wasn't anything for Ohara to brag about, I related to that so much. I do hope they do more with this show, I'd love to see them together again. I love the childhood friend dynamic. I love their relationship and how Ohara gave time to Kakeru. I also want to point out how much I love the relationship between Ohara and his sister, Mikoto. When Yamato was heading out for the Christmas date with Kakeru, she said she'd stay up all night with Ohara is Kakeru rejected him. So sweet. I want them to delve deeper into Oharas' life because we know a bit of the dad and mom. It was talked about very briefly. There is so much I want to see and I really recommend this if you are just dipping your toes into BL shows or BL over all. Please give it a watch, I feel like this show is very slept on, it deserves more attention :)Was this review helpful to you?

I've rewatched this numerous times, and plan to do it again. I love Yamato and Kakeru. This is one of my own comfort dramas. The trope reminds me of something I had to fake for a while. I love this sickeningly. Kakeru being insecure next to Yamato is a relatable experience, and the actors feel very real. It brings tears to my eyes for some reason. I'm usually more professional writing these, but I'm listening to "Casual" and it's most definitely their song. They have my entire heart. I like how there's basically no spice and just 2 guys trying to learn about themselves and figure this out. Perfection.Was this review helpful to you?
So nice I watched it twice
I strongly recommend this show. If you're getting a little worn out by repetitive BLs and all the same old tropes, well, I can't say this breaks any molds. It does tell the story of two young men who learn more about each other and themselves as their emotions grow to the point they can no longer be ignored. The story is really well done, and I thought the actors did a great job within the traditional scope of a BL. Here's the bottom line: I cared what happened to them, and I didn't watch any of it at 2x speed. That's a real compliment. See if you like it too.Was this review helpful to you?
Best if you like fluff and complete heart warming moments
This is the best thing I've watched in a long time. It was simply so pure not chaotic like many other BL's these days. I love the childhood friends to lovers trope and I even gave it a 10/10 wow!!! The chemistry between the two actors is insane and I'm happy they adapted the manga ;') Yeah sure it's so 'unoriginal' as some people on here say but that is literally not the point. It's better than toxic red flag BL's that apparently is normalized these days. The plot was beautiful. And I'm glad they started adapting these kind of stories again. They should do it more. Don't like it? Don't watch it if you're looking for something EXTREME.This was pure fluff and completely wholesome ;') I hope more like this comes out, something not red flag all the time these days. This is also the only series besides One Piece I can't wait for a new episode. I usually wait until things are completed, this one didn't work, had to watch it immediately since the first episode release. It's worth it guys!
This is after all the reason why I started like BL, because of fluff and heart warming moments like this.

It's perfect!
I loved every second! The story was the cute kind of cliche and the acting reminded me of watching anime. Super cute couple and side characters. Soft vibes at it's best! It's the healing kind of romance, that just makes you smile like there's no tomorrow. The couple had the cute kind of chemistry and it makes you want more after watching.(PT/BR) Amei cada segundo! A história é o tipo fofo de clichê e a atuação me fez lembrar animes. Casal super fofo e os personagens secundários também. Definição de fofura! É o tipo de romance que cura a alma e te faz sorrir como se não houvesse amanhã. O casal teve uma química muito fofa e te faz querer mais depois de assistir.

Short and not sweet
Although this drama is pretty short (8 x 20 minute episodes), I struggled to finish it.There's not much to the story, scenes feel very repetitive and it becomes boring quite quickly.
Acting is average, the MLs displaying a very limited range of emotions (adding to the feeling of repetitiveness).
The music is annoying, too loud, covering the dialogues (not that the dialogues are that interesting anyway).
I would not recommend this drama.

Easily Top 5 for Me
This series is so very special. I loved every second of it. I re-watch it every month and fall in love all over again. It's a nice steady build, but also not too fast nor too slow. It was literally just right all the way through. I can't even describe the feeling that came over me the first time I saw it, especially when they depicted that feeling of liking someone. The actors did an amazing job, but also the shimmer thing that floats across the scene omgoodness... please be still my heart. Even though it's not an outright heavy romance, I found it extremely romantic.I hope you will give it a try and I hope you find the magic in it too.

I was boring having dinner alone and I choose this one because of the cover, and i am in love now!!♡♡♡ i had that fangirl feeling like i had on my 16yo, full of goosebumps, silly smirks and rubbing feets AND knees, lol.I Will definitly read the manga♡♡♡
P.S: Kakeru made me feel a lot of cuteness!!
Estaba aburrida cenando sola y elegí esta serie por la portada, y ahora estoy enamoradíma!!♡♡♡ Sentí esa sensación de fangirl como cuando tenía 16 años, llena de escalofríos, risitas tontas y pies y rodillas frotándose entre sí, lol.
Ahora que sé que existen los mangas definitivamente los voy a leer!♡♡♡

Es la mejor serie japonesa del mundo!!!!
I Can't Reach you es la primera produción japonesa que me introdujo al mundo del bl japones.Es perfecta en termino de historia y narrativa. Dos amigos de la infancia en donde uno es secretamente enamorado del otro.
En comparacion de muchos otros dramas con esa misma tematica de "el amigo gay se enamora de su amigo hetero" esta tuvo un desarrollo coherente en la relacion de los dos protagonista, como lentamente iban transicionando de amigos a algo mas.
La historia en si es muy linda, calida y tiene un balence perfecto de todo lo que el publico quiere ver.
Ame a Yui!! Siempre es necesario ese amigo que da un pequeño empujon para que la relacion de los protagonistas fluja. Gracias por tanto Yui y perdon por tan poco!!!

Me da mucha risa porque el resumen de esta serie seria algo asiYamato y Kakeru: No hablandose, teniendo falta de comunicacion y no sabiendo que decir porque son medio lentos

Fofo, leve e bom para passar o tempo – mas sem grandes destaques
A série é delicada e aposta em uma narrativa suave, com foco nas emoções e nos pequenos gestos – o que pode agradar quem busca algo mais contemplativo e fofo.A química entre os protagonistas é agradável, e o ritmo calmo combina bem com o tom da história. No entanto, para quem está acostumado com narrativas BL mais intensas ou profundas, esse dorama pode parecer um pouco raso. Não chega a ser ruim – longe disso –, mas também não entrega nada particularmente memorável. É o tipo de série que você assiste numa tarde tranquila, gosta de acompanhar, mas provavelmente vai esquecer logo depois.
Não li o mangá, mas assistindo ao dorama dá a sensação de que a obra original deve explorar com mais profundidade as emoções e conflitos dos personagens. Fica a impressão de que o formato curto da série (com episódios de cerca de 20 minutos) limitou um pouco o desenvolvimento emocional que poderia ter sido mais impactante.
No geral, é fofo, simpático e funciona bem como passatempo. Não é o pior dorama por aí, mas também está longe de ser o melhor. Se você busca algo leve, doce e com um toque de romance adolescente, pode valer a pena. Só não vá esperando grandes reviravoltas ou emoções arrebatadoras.
